Prior to our arrival, the hotel had flooded and the staff at the front desk advised us that due to the flooding the elevator was not working and that we would have to use the stairs and we would be on the 4th floor. My wife has deficits on her right side due to a brain tumor and is unable to walk up that many flights of stairs. I explained this to the front staff and they graciously upgraded our room and placed us in a suite on the 2nd floor. My wife is able to walk up (1) flight with assistance. If it wasn’t for the front staff, helping us out, we would have prob cancelled our reservation and look for another hotel.
