Lake House Artistic Spa-Like Retreat - Quiet Peaceful cul-de-sac - Pet-Friendly!

Apple Valley Lake spa-like retreat. Come to gather with your family and/or friends and relax in this newly renovated home on a quiet cul-de-sac. If you like clean and organized, this is the rental for you. Everything is new including furniture, mattresses, Calphalon cookware, dishes and kitchen utensils. All mattresses and pillow cases protected with encased covers. Sit on the front deck or the back porch and enjoy the view of the lake and the wildlife. Upstairs has 3 spa-like bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A great gathering place with the kitchen open to the dining space and living space. Don't miss any touchdowns while you are cooking with the 55" TV easily viewable from the kitchen. The kitchen is a gourmet chef's dream with all amenities. The downstairs game room has an additional sectional sofa, TV, card table, , a kitchenette as well as a private bedroom with a queen bed and 1 rollaway twin bed. 5 minute walk to Davis Beach.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING AT THIS PROPERTY ... THERE WILL BE A FINE FOR ANYONE WHO BREAKS THIS RULE.

Girls weekend getaway
Thanks Brenda for a beautiful spot to spend some relaxing time with friends. What a wonderful location. We spent most of our time in the spacious open kitchen/dining area and on the porch over looking the lake. The space was perfect for the 8 of us. Thanks for providing everything we needed to just relax and enjoy each other's company. We hope to make a return trip soon.

Great reunion of friends
This property looked brand new and was beautifully maintained. We stayed there instead of in the dorms for our 45th college reunion. The house was perfect for us. Great indoor and outdoor space for chatting. We'd book again in a heartbeat if Brenda is still VRBO'ing her home, when we come back in 5 years for the big 5-0.

We loved our stay in Apple Valley!
We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!

Don’t question it just book it!
This stay, the property and even Brenda were absolutely phenomenal. Firstly, I have a service dog and I loved that this property is pet friendly. They have dog treats, dog poop bags, and even a bin to throw away any dog waste that you have outside. This small but personal detail made such a big difference to me. Secondly, the place was so clean!! The place is decorated so beautifully and modern, but yet so welcoming and warm. The location was phenomenal in the sense that it is quiet, peaceful, right near the lake, and close to a private beach in the neighborhood. The neighbors were so friendly. My husband and I loved our morning walks and getting to explore the views. Check-in was so smooth and Brenda was so sweet enough to let us check in earlier since we were traveling for 8 hours. Communication with her was smooth and easy. She is so friendly and answered any questions that we had. We had originally went to Ohio for a wedding and not completely excited about our stay, but yet we ended up loving it and not wanting to leave. The house is stocked with olive oil, salt, pepper, all the spices you would need, and Brenda even supplied a spring glass bottle of water for us. All the dishes, pots, pans, & everything was super clean. The deck has a direct view to the lake and some patio furniture so you can sit out and enjoy it! I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved staying here. Thank you Brenda for being such an amazing host and allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Perfect Getaway
I planned a girls' weekend/yoga retreat with 4 of my friends this past weekend and stayed here. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It definitely had the spa-like feel we were looking for with plenty of room to spread out and do yoga. The bedrooms were good sizes and the beds were comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to questions before and during our stay. The view of the lake was perfection. If it had been just a little less windy and a little warmer, we would have spent more time on the deck! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and plenty of seating. I can't say enough good things about this property. We are alrady planning another trip!

Wonderful Rental!!!
This property is gorgeous, and we are so pleased that we were able to stay here for our weekend in Mount Vernon! It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with plenty of space for our family with 2 teens / young adults to spread out! I was surprised though that even with having space to get away from their parents, our teens chose to play the board games that were available on the second night plus, on the third night, they chose to watch a movie together upstairs! ❤️ The second morning, the boys even made the girls breakfast in the fully stocked and gorgeous kitchen! This home was perfect for our weekend! Thank you!

Clean and fresh and new
Everything is beautifully and newly remodeled. We couldn't have wanted for anything. Just delightful staying here. Every detail was thought of! Great bedding and towels. Kitchen fully stocked. Very cute place. Can't wait to book this house again.
