The room was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled, the bed ok, the shower was great but the building is run down and definitely needs to be updated. It was affordable, bottom line I would stay here again.

The check-in was easy and loading made convenient, especially with the elevator. Staff was always friendly and very helpful, and in one situation, went above the call of duty to help us. We are very appreciative. The room was neat and clean and was serviced at our request. The motel is just a few minutes off I-65 on the north side of Decatur and is worth the extra time, espcially if you are visiting local attractions, I our case, the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge.

A bargain at the price point
Always enjoy the price point and the service. My rooms are always clean and well stocked and I choose smoking rooms when I can. The management is friendly.

Not being familiar with the area, we booked this room. Should have known that the price reflected the poor condition of the entire building. Dirty, run down, no amenities, hot and loud! Stay on the beaten path! You get what you pay for!

I did not feel safe at this property. Sketchy characters walking around. Drug deal in the parking lot. Extremely run down. Nobody at check in desk. So bad that I told the lady I was leaving. She said that I was "Going to lose my money." I told her that I wasn't going to risk staying there over $225. FYI this is the first review that I have ever made. Take my advice and STAY AWAY.

Sorry, Guest did not stayed at our property at all. Resevation made by customer thorugh expedia online and we dont reposible for any their action. Guest have to read reservation policy first before make one we are the third part or call expedia first if any further concern before done it. We cant help with that. we cant read for them. We go by what we received. Thats not in our hand.We should mad ourselves for own action and their outcomes not anybody else. Plenty of people staying since ages here without no problem. Thank you to giving me chance to reply.

It wasnt good. Night clerk yelled and scorned us in hostile manner for proping open a side door entrance to the hotel at night while we retrieved items from our vehicle. We had the door open for less than a minute and our car was 25 feet away. Besides the general shoddy condition of the hotel, that was an very unpleasant and unnecessary experience from the hotel staff to their guests, who are paying them. He could've offered us to hold the door instead of screaming at us. As a result, it put a damper on us as we were turning in for the night. Because I had waited until after 11am to address this with morning clerk, we were not offered any compensation or kickback for the complete rudeness of their staff, other than an apology by someone covering for another coworker. We decided to move to a different hotel, and paid for a day of the room which we did not occupy.

She was just doing her job. Outside noise is a problem. Dated building. Furnishings are clean and in good condition. But the seeming lack of noise insulation is a real problem, given the downtown location.

Old property...but i will say at least it was clean and no bugs...staff friendly...kinda like stepping back in time... the lamp and furniture looked like its been there since 1970....kind of cool ...lol.. But ,if you are looking for a half price hotel and a place to rest your head on a budget this is decent. All other hotels were 160.00 a night average. Room did not smell like smoke. Had to extended my stay for another night with no problems and they only charge a 20.00 hold for Incidentals. Would stay again.

Not bad, but not the best
My room was clean, and everything seemed to be in working order. The furnishings were very outdated, but reasonable well maintained. Ice machine on the first floor wasn't working, but there was another available on the 5th floor. Room temp was difficult to regulate. It was very hot when I first got in, so I turned the air on (low setting). Before I went to bed it was a bit chilly, so I turned the heat on low, but woke up in the middle of the night quite warm again, so I turned the fan on (no heat, no A/C, just fan to drown out any noises from outside). And by morning it was a bit chilly again.

Dear guest : We do apologize for any inconvenience. We leave few rooms heat on for customer in winter time and AC in summer time because our buiding is concrete building. It take time to heating the room or cooling the room. Thank you for staying with us.

I am not happy with it. The room was ok. The front desk ok. Parking is ok. My biggest complain is after I paid for the room then the hit you with a another charge of $100.00 for anything you break or for them cleaning it. If everything is ok they give you $80.00 back. So if Hotels.com charge my card $72.00 plus the hotel charges me $100.00 then gives me $80.00 back the total is $92.00 plus taxes. How are you saving money and Hotels.com not give my account credit for my free night. Never stay there again.

We do apologize for any inconvenience. I think there is some confusion about charges. we took pre authorization 102.60 inclduing 20 dollar rm deposit. online its usually 50 rm deposit. When we took Pre authorization , ur side it showing amount is pedning but when u check out we settled the same transaction and charged only the room rent 82.60. There is only one transaction. Hotel.com dont charge anything extra. We collect the payment first from guest then we pay commission to hotel.com thats way our hotel account is set up. I hope u understand.
