Easy self check-in, good park and position. The room is ok. Not satisfied about the kitchen because was dirty. I know that are the faults of the previous guests but the guesthouse staff should check if the kitchen is ok. The breakfast was very simple (three cheese, jam, tomato, egg and cucumber for two persons). My rating of my stay is 6.

This place was adequate for two of us for one night. Given that there are limited options for lodging outside of Reykjavik, this place was quite decent. Ample parking, close to the harbor and dining places. We liked it.

In mijn beschrijving stond dat een ontbijtpakket klaar zou liggen. Nou niet dus. En wij hadden geen brood.meer. en supermarkt ging pas om 10.00 open. Gelukkig lag er in de vriezer een heel brood van februari. Die hebben wij in een broodrooster gedaan. En wij hadden zelf ons eigen kaas mee.. verder was het er goed schoon. En dikke prima. Maar zorg optijd voor je eten.

good for a short stay!
A little hiccup with not getting an email for lockbox, but a quick phone call sorted it so no problem. Fully equipped kitchen which was great. Nice cozy room, nice shower.

Room was not properly cleaned. There were streaks of poop in the toilet. The shower was not wiped down, used half empty shampoo bottle was left, which shows that the shower was not cleaned. Soap scums all over the hardware. Sheets had hair, looked like they were not changed.

At the outset, I would consider this a high-end hostel and not a "hotel". But that is not a negative (just may not be for everyone). Great communication from the management re: entry code/entry details etc in advance of our stay, and we requested 2 beds which they were great and accommodated. Great location (can walk to town). Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and clean common kitchen area for coffee/meals etc. B'fast is included and individual baskets are organized in the fridge for guests each morning with hard boiled eggs, meats etc, and bread and coffee is also available. Only two issues we encountered but neither would prevent us from staying again: (1) one morning there were no coffee mugs available and (2) our shower leaked a bit into the main area of the bathroom. Again, neither issue would prevent us from staying again in the future.

The room was immaculate! Like our room in Seydisfjordur, very stylish! Was very quiet, and the woman who checked us in was an absolute delight! Plus, we had access to a full kitchen and were given a breakfast that consisted of eggs, meat and cheeses, fruit, veggies and yoghurt. Plus toast. The kitchen had its own coffee grinder/coffee maker. Very quiet and in a great location for restaurants and shopping.

Das Haus von aussen nicht sehr einladent-Farbe bröckelt. Hygieneregeln werden nicht beachtet-1 Tresen-Bartisch für alle Gäste!!!! Wenn voll belegt kein Meter Abstand möglich! Als Frühstück werden offene Körbe ohne Nummerierung in einen Gemeinschaftskühlschrank gestellt! Kann jeder sich bedienen auch wenn es immer 1 pro Zimmer sein solte! Anwesende Reinigungskraft die zufällig da war trug keine!!Maske. Kleines einfach eingerichtetes Zimmer-hellhörig!

A bit overprice for a service provided. Clean and pleasant but for this price you would expect a bit more. Especially breakfast was poor in comparison to other places we stayed in Iceland for lower price, for example having a juice from concentrate rather actual juice.

Basic clean accommodation, but overpriced.
There are not many hotels/guest houses in Husavik, so I understand supply is limited, but this felt overpriced. A couple of notes, there are only very thin, light colored linen curtains and in a country where it is light 24 hours a day in summer this was not super helpful in getting a good night’s sleep. Also, room 101 could use some basic maintenance - the window closure needs screws/is broken and the sliding bathroom door sticks a lot. But the kitchen was clean, breakfast was self serve and easy and we appreciated the parking and good location!

This is a very nice guesthouse. The inside is very modern looking, updated rooms and bathrooms. Very nice large kitchen, and the hosts left us a little plate and basket of food for our breakfast. Very thoughtful! There is a nice living room/lounge area. We were there with only 1 other couple so it was very quiet. Great seafood restaurant across the street! Bring sleep mask if coming in the summer! :) Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is unmanned so you need to check emails on the day to find out how to get in. This can be a problem if you have no mobile signal on your travels. The property was spacious and we liked the kitchen availability.

This property has no on-site staff. There's a keypad that gets you into the entry, then a lockbox to collect your key. They sent the code for the door about 9 a.m. the day we checked in, which was long after we'd left that morning's hotel. Because of the location of guesthouse, there's no 4G in the parking lot, so I had to drive down to the harbor to get a signal to get the info. Room is reasonably sized and was clean. Advertised black-out curtains, but our room didn't have them. Rooms are not serviced if you're spending more than one night. The breakfast is set up in a basket with your room number on it- one bagel sandwich, one sugar-free skyrr, and one fruit salad per person. The common area is nice, but can be very loud depending on your fellow guests. The dishwasher was always so full that you couldn't safely load dishes into it.

Det fanns ingen personal dygnet runt men vi fick meddelande innan om hur vi fick tag i nyckeln till vårt rum så det var lätt och smidigt. Allt var nytt och fräscht. Frukosten var i små lådor i kylskåpet. En låda för varje rum. Stort och rymligt allrum och fina möjligheter för egen matlagning. Nära till hamnen och mötesplatsen för valsafari.

We loved this hotel during our stay in Husavik! Room was spacious and had a lovely shower. But that wasn't the best part. 2nd floor had a kitchen available for use throughout our stay and it was glorious!! The breakfast was cute and thoughtful as the property manager set up a basket of goodies per room in the fridge. Tip: Netto closed early, 7-8ish?, for groceries so if you want to take full advantage of your stay, I highly suggest shopping. Also, very impressed with the no staff on property! This hotel runs itself. Good job Post Plaza!!! If we ever come back, we'll be sure to stay here.

Nice, clean pitstop. No frills. Kitchen was fully equipped though. Common baths if that's an issue for some.

Good morning Sally! Are you sure you might be confusing our guesthouse with another one? Because all of the rooms have an en-suite bathroom, meaning there are private bathrooms in every room and no common bathrooms.
