It's located inside another building and hard to find from the street, but once inside it's huge! The suites are very comfortable and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Tons of closet and drawer space. Maid service was spotty - skipped me one day, took the used towels but didn't replace them the second day, third day was fine. Great breakfast with omelette station was a highlight.

Stayed here for the Eclipse. The hotel was awesome and room was nice, updated and clean. Hotel situated in great area and everything is within walking distance. It was a great stay and will return.

The room wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived. They did a better job cleaning after our first night. Breakfast was really good. Parking was convenient and the front entrance was clean and was covered so weather was not an issue.

It was a great location to stay at for the event we had that day. The only hiccup we had was we had to leave so early the doors to the sky bridge were locked but after that the day went smoothly and we were able to get from our event back to the hotel without a hitch.

The parking garage is horrible, to tight. Our room was not cleaned by housekeeping for 2 days, the Manager Tom was supposed to return my phone call and as of 02/26/2024 has not returned.

There aren’t good signs telling you where to park. Once you park, there aren’t enough signs telling you where to go to get to the Embassy hotel. The construction is everywhere and an employee made a comment that I needed to go in another door because I was letting cold air in. The front desk staff was unfriendly. I paid a lot of money for one night and breakfast didn’t even begin until an hour after I had to leave. So $240 to sleep. $45 to park. People do have to be places early on the weekends too and need breakfast. Never again!!!

While I understand they are working in a remodel of the entrance, there’s no excuse for the poor organization and explanation for the arriving guests. To get to the lobby, you are expected to use a service elevator which quit working sometime during the night. The check-in staff did not offer any parking advice or options, leaving it up to you what to do with your vehicle. They just didn’t care. Having to use stairs to get from the lobby to the front doors wouldn’t be so bad, except for the grimy hand rails. Also, you can plainly see the escalators which are out of service. They should have just closed this place for the remodel.

Embassy Suites is under construction.
This has been a family tradition to stay the Embassy Suites downtown for Christmas. 17 of us get 3 or 4 rooms. Enjoy the surroundings. This time not so much. I know the place is old, and needs lots of work. Most of the main floor is under construction and off limits. I wish the Embassy Suites well, we've had many great times there. But the renovation needs to wrap up and the whole Claypool Court Retail area is a bit distressed. It's going to be a long journey.

Many Better Options than Embassy Suites
Possibly the worst stay I’ve had anywhere. When we arrived, we had no clue how to go inside the hotel as there was renovation/construction occurring. Finally after 10-15 mins walking through the hotel we finally found the lobby. We got our keys and headed to our room. Once inside our room, I realized it didn’t match at all with the pictures from Hotels.com. I had specifically picked out a hotel room where there were pictures of a balcony and paid a good chunk of money for it. I went and checked with the guy working at the front desk and he confirmed that we had gotten a completely different room somehow. No assistance or help either from the front desk. It seems as though Embassy Suites purposely uses pictures of higher end rooms in all their “suites” to dupe people into reserving. On top of that, this was just a slight step above a bad motel. Very loud outside your door. I’ve stayed in several places around Indy - this was easily the worst. Could’ve stayed at a much better place for two nights but instead I threw away my money on this place for one night. The only positive about this place was its location.

All was great, could improve on breakfast quality
There was construction, but they did mention that at booking. What we were disappointed was the breakfast did not compare to other Embassy Suites we have stayed in the past. Omlet was good, but rest was equivelent to a hampton inn. Rest of the stay was great.

Hating having to wait for a room to be cleaned but I was checking in a bit earlier. The couple I was traveling with got a room right away. Renovations made things more difficult but will be nice when finished. Could hear the upstairs neighbors stomping all night. Overall, I did like the hotel, staff, and location.

It was noisy, it was dirty, it was not convenient to get around as nothing had signs to tell you where to go, the hotel was not labeled and the garage had a little sign so after circling block cple times finally found it only to go to a garage door way with no directions to where front desk is. I'm not sure i would stay here again

It was under construction, but they were very accommodating. Pool area reminded me of a locker room and there was only one garbage can in our room. Overall, great place for the price.
