The rooms were nice and clean but one shower didn’t work. There was some undesirable people wandering at night, fighting and yelling in the parking lot from 2-3am.

Location is fantastic but, unfortunately the hotel was pretty bad. Walls falling apart. Pieces of the wall on the floor maybe for weeks, I don't know. The rooms were ok at best but the location is fantastic.

The employees were all friendly and helpful. It was awesome to be able to walk down to explore along the river and view Canada across the river.

not what was pictured but still good place to stay
The picture shows a lovely view and yard to sit in. The trees have grown so you cant really see the river any more and the outside of the hotel and yard need some work. That being said the room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, etc. So it was a good breakfast. The area is really quiet. We would stay there again.

Not sure where the “property photo” was taken, but it was not here! The carpet in the room/rooms was disgusting, I couldn’t even walk on it without shoes. In the morning a fire alarm went off, no one seemed concerned except for me and a guy next door! the maid down the hall just shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. I couldn’t bring myself to eat the breakfast included with my stay, just showered and left! The property surroundings out back were creepy! Was not a 140.00 a night motel!

We chose this place because of availability and price. But it is in a state of serious disrepair and needs lots of TLC. Pavement, siding, floors, walls all need replacement/painting.

It looked abandoned. Went right by the sign and had to turn around to find the hotel. Room was ok but the towel rack was coming off the wall in the bathroom. Wouldn't stay there again.

Property was quite dilapidated. Pictures on website were very misleading. The only positive thing was they allowed us to cancel our reservations and we booked elsewhere.

The bottom of the heater was exposed, the dials on the heater were pushed way into the unit, the heat couldn’t be adjusted, we didn’t get the specific room we booked, all the amenities such as pool/restaurant were closed, the place was clearly very run down even the paint on the wall was scuffed up. We didn’t even end up staying, we checked out an hour after we checked in and drove the two hours home because it was so unkept.

Loved that it is located on the river. Decided to try fishing from shore and caught a 38" northern! Some other guests were catching numbers of smallmouth bass. Property was pet friendly and we met some great pets and their owners. Rooms were generously sized, and clean. Exterior could use an update but over all a very good experience.

Upon entering our room, there were no two king beds, no jacuzzi tub as advertised and why we booked. I called the front desk, was told “Did you book with Expedia? They always say there are two beds.” “What about the hot tub”, I asked. “Seems bait and switchy.” “ Well, we do have the bridal suite which has a hot tub”, she replied. “We’ll be right down to switch room keys”, said I. And there we found ourselves, in the bridal suite. Which had a very comfortable king bed despite the overall lack of upkeep. The property itself sits right on the river where you can reach Canada in a stone’s throw and a strong arm. Lovely acreage..a few bucks thrown at maintenance would do them a world of good.

Almost worse hotel i have ever stayed in.
This hotel had a funky smell and room was in a state of repair. Almost all amenities were closed. The free breakfast was horrible. Worse i have ever seen.

Hotel is preparing to shut down as new building across the street is under construction, but it is in such disrepair that they should explain that upon booking or close down.

Thank you for staying with us! Sorry your experience was not what you expected, however our hotel is not closing down and will remain open under our new name Riverfront hotel. We are in the process of doing improvements in our building. We will no longer have the pool, bar or restaurant. If you could be a little more specific from your point of view, as to what you think should be done to spruce it up, or what specific issues you encountered during your stay, this will help us to improve our guest experience. Could you be a little more specific.

Thank you for staying with us! Our building will remain open and we are doing improvements as we can. We will no longer have our bar, restaurant, or pool as since covid there has been a constant staffing issue for such amenities. Could you be more specific from your point of view when you say run down? Did you encounter issues in your room or with staffing and if you had issues in a room, did you report it to staff or manager? So if issues please be specific and provide the room number. Thank very kindly for staying with us.

This property is not called Riverfront but is an old AmericInn. GPS for the address does not get you to the hotel. I think we were only one of two occupants in the entire hotel. The outside is horrible and looks like it’s a condemned building. Do not recommend and I think Expedia should take it off their list of hotels.

The outside of the building which I'm assuming is the big field with all the grass, if so please know that I have been in contact with the city as some local folks own that land and is zoned as a C3 and used for agricultural purposes for haying and city officials are looking to see about getting the zone changed for that piece of property. This is Riverfront and we are on multiple different sites, and you are correct it use to be an AmericInn. Thank you for your input but specifics would help us from a guest perspective instead of stating it looks condemned.
