Camera sgabuzzino
Avevo prenotato una stanza frontemare invece sono stato alloggiato in un seminterrato dove il mare si vede appena e il soffitto non supera i due metri e 10. La stanza doveva essere di 30 mq invece era appena di 12 mq molto piccola e tanto sconfortevole che io e la mia compagna non abbiamo neppure disfato la valigia. La responsabile sig.ra Rita è una persona incapace e arrogante avevo chiesto il trasferimento a una camera migliore pagando un sovraprezzo ma al mattino seguente era già prenotata ....insomma una fregatura ...durata ben 14 notti e pagate salate ...evitate.

Un incubo in paradiso
Siamo arrivati in serata in questa struttura. la mattina successiva, dopo una doccia, abbiamo notato un cattivo odore. Lo abbiamo fatto presente alla reception che, dopo averci mostrato altre camere al piano superiore e promettendoci camere di categoria differenti, ci ha mandato le cameriere ai piani che, ridendoci in faccia, ci hanno detto che non c'era nessun cattivo odore, che avrebbero buttato il cloro nella doccia e che la puzza sarebbe andata via. L'hotel, in 4 notti che siamo stati li, non ha MAI pulito i vetri della terrazza, ne del bagno. Il bagno è a dir poco inquietante con i vetri ovunque (l'utilizzo del bagno è IN VETRINA), tende, se così le possiamo chiamare, di plastica (teli per coprire dalla pioggia la macchina e altro), tubi a vista e naturalmente il deodorante per il wc appeso sotto i tubi del lavandino. Ci hanno spostato sempre le nostre cose per mettere in ordine, non c'è l'ascensore, abbiamo avuto 2 shampoo per 4 giorni per 2 persone, mai rimpiazzato e gli asciugamani erano solo 2, quelli da doccia, la doccia non ha un tappetino antiscivolo ne tanto meno una tenda. Il letto ha il materasso pieno di conche. Abbiamo dovuto tenere sempre le tende del terrazzo sempre chiuse perché la nostra stanza dava sulla strada. Per me che lavoro come receptionist in Hotel è stato davvero un incubo.

Bell'hotel, con una vista incredibile, tutte le stanze si affacciano direttamente sul mare. Per il resto, hotel di buon livello ma abbastanza "basic"! comunque consigliato!

Si può dare di più. (Che spreco di potenziale)
Location bella e comoda, vicina ai traghetti ma al tempo stesso lontana dal trambusto, l'albergo avrebbe delle ottime potenzialità ma le camere sono arredate e rifinite in maniera grossolana, l'aria condizionata era assai rumorosa il personale alla reception decisamente poco attento alla clientela, più adatto ad un affittacamere che ad un albergo. La camera al piano terra (al primo piano rispetto alla strada pedonale antistante) é poco discreta e bisogna tenere le tende chiuse per evitare che i passanti possano osservarci dall'enorme vetrata. Altro particolare é che il bagno é diviso dalla camera da una vetrata con supporto in alluminio e coperto da una tendaccia di tela. Il panorama é anche romantico se non fosse che la camera é squallida, un vero peccato, basterebbe davvero qualche accorgimento perchè possa essere forse uno dei più bei resort dell'isola.

Occhio all'aria condizionata
L'hotel è un pò spoglio (pare sia chiuso!), ma è ordinato e pulito. La camera prenotata su expedia al costo più basso non è dotata di aria condizionata. All'arrivo, siamo quindi stati costretti a pagare un sovraprezzo per un'altra stanza (In estate è impossibile persare di non averla!)! Posizione comoda per chi arriva con i traghetti Ultramar. Alla fine del pontile, basta procedere dritti per arrivarci. L'hotel si trova in fondo alla strada a circa 200 mt. e si affaccia sull'altra sponda dell'isola.

I would stay again. I wish it were closer to the beach and I would make this my absolute go to stay. However, it is quite a walk to North Beach, which made the location less than ideal for me. Very clean property, felt safe and the view is spectacular!

Rocamar is a perfect place to stay. 5 mi Ute walk to and from the ferry,local people and places to eat were exceptional, walk to the beach or rent a golf cart close by and explore the island. Fresh beach towels and maid service everyday beautiful view of the ocean,and sunrise from our room

The location is excellent, the cleaning maid was excellent. The room was ok, the TV was small and behind Plexi glass, I know typically I wouldn't care but it was the weekend of the AFC and NFC championship. All the mirrors had these marks on them, basically useless.. The gentleman at the front desk never greeted us as we come and go, and never smiled.

We enjoyed the view. Nothing else. Room and property was dirty. Front desk staff gave no information on the property. Here is the key. Room 10. That is it. Dod not feel welcome. Never saw any hotel staff. Pool furniture broken. Mold in room everywhere including the air conditioner. Door to balcony very hard to open. Lights did not work. Will never recommend.

The location is gorgeous, but the room was not well maintained. In our 14 days stay we had three repairmen come in: air conditioner leaking water into our closet; balcony door not sliding and toilet. The first two were solve, the toilet did not fill up even after a couple hours work. We had to manually fill the tank with a pitcher. I understand is only a two star hotel, but a properly working toilet is a must. Additionally we were asked to wear a bracelet so the night watchman would know we were staying there. On the last morning there was a young man sleeping in the outdoor lounge, no shirt, no shoes, no bracelet. So much for security. The staff was polite but defensive when we brought up our complaints. Again, beautiful location by the Caribbean sea, balconies overlooking the sea, pool area overlooking the sea, but poorly maintained rooms.

Slippery floors
The hotel is in good location close to Ferry and shopping. I had a little issue with my room was downstairs, I had to go down a long staircase, I thought it would be 1st floor level since I’m handicapped. The other issue was if you leave the door open for a couple of minutes room gets very muggy and floor become extremely wet, this caused me to fall. Aside from those issue it was a pleasant one night stay.

The view off of the balcony was positively fantastic! You can hear the waves all night and day! The pool and outdoor areas are very nice and relaxing. There is A/C; however, the bathroom is a wet room, with the shower and vent keeping the bathroom a little damp. The shower view can't be beat, as the glass wall of the shower allows a view through the room directly to the Carribean. It's a true Mexico immersion vacation spot!

Honestly, this place was the best part of my vacation outside of just being alone, traveling with my partner. The staff was extremely friendly and interested whether I struck up conversation in English or Spanish, plenty of good recommendations on their part if you happened to travel without a plan whether it comes to food, shopping, transportation, or adventuring. I’ll add, there’s a cat that lives near and walks around the building that is absolutely precious and deserves the world. Her name is Micha, leave a can of tuna for us. Thank you <3

The room was stinky when we checked in the bathroom room door was not completely closing. We bought our own room perfume and used it all 4 days. The location and Beachfront are the top points.

Room is very basic, location is great, 3 min walk from ferry and very close to all the shops & restaurant. View of the ocean is phenomenal. I'm not a fan of the bathroom, it smells of sewage at times, and gets very humid after a shower, no shower curtain which splashes water everywhere. But for the price it is reasonable.

They really mean ocean front when they say it. Only a walking path seperates the hotel from the sea. Everything on the north part of the island is a 5-10 minute walk, including the beaches. They keep the property spotless, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Amazing location right in the heart of the locals & right on the coast with crashing waves right below your balcony. This is not a luxury property, and the price reflects it, however we have gone back 3 times due to the value and experience of this hotel.
