“When we travel, we prefer to find places more "away" from the crowds and high-rises. This VRBO at Mampoo Place delivers. The sounds of the ocean, the views all day (and even sometimes at night!) The seashells, iguanas, hermit crabs, and marine life were all fantastic. I was nervous about the iguanas "visiting" but they stayed in their tree and were delightful entertainment. Be sure to have a Jeep or similar vehicle to get to the house and around the island. Would definitely stay here again!”

“We so enjoyed Harbor Lights in 2016 we decided to return to St John and stay there again. Beautiful, quiet, private cottage. It is close to several resturants. The pool was great after hikes and beach days. I would definitely recommend.”

“We loved staying at the stone cottage. Comfortable beds and furniture, the screen porch was great for keeping the bugs out, kitchen was well equipped , bathrooms on both floors was a nice touch. Can’t beat the location, an easy walk down to dolphin market and restaurants. Driveway was typical St. John driveway quick turn and up. We used the 4 wheel drive on the Jeep to get up it. Our one suggestion would be a shade on the porch to block the morning sun before 10 am.”

“Our Family of 5 had an amazing time at the Waterfall Oasis this April. What we loved about it: beautiful home, decor, accommodations and view of ocean and mountains w/ pool. Great location - within minutes to beaches, restaurants and very private. Our family loved spending time at the house, because we weren't on top of each other all of the time and everyone had their own space. I would give this 10+ Stars if I could , as we really enjoyed our time there so much and would definitely recommend...

“We loved our stay here. There were only 5 of us (including our 4-year-old granddaughter), so we just used the upstairs. The indoor space is wonderful -- very open and comfortable. And the kitchen is very well stocked. The view from the pool deck and balcony is drop-dead gorgeous, and we loved watching the cruise ships coming and going. It was clear that this is a house that is used often for vacations because there are so many nice touches -- plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, floaties...

“This is a great spot for a family or two couples. Small but well appointed with a fantastic outdoor space and great views. The pool was great with small kids and the hammock gets shade pretty much the whole day. Only a few minutes drive from Cruz Bay but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. There were beach chairs and some toys as well as a cooler to use which was fantastic. While we had a small issue with the water turning off, it was handled promptly and communication was excellent...

“This lovely, spacious home was perfect for our large party of family and friends. The two levels of the home worked really well for our needs - our friends with the infant were able to have quiet downstairs when needed while the rest of our party could visit, swim, etc. Erin and Mike were more than helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend Mike’s gorgeous catamaran for a 1/2 day of sailing and snorkeling. (Sandy Toes Sailing.) Everything really exceeded our expectations.”

“This was one of our favorite stays. We travel all over to see National Parks and we stay at VRBO's. We love the East End of St. John Island, more secluded and peaceful. The house is 2 stories with stairs to the front door and stairs down to the 2 bedrooms. Cooked fresh fish on the grill (brought my own grill mat) and the kitchen had anything you needed to cook with. The pool was excellent! I brought a swimming resistant band and did my laps every day. The private neighborhood beach was great for...
