Buon soggiorno
Hotel molto comodo per visitare la città, passaggio del tram nelle immediate vicinanze, personale attento e disponibile, buona la colazione a buffet.Buono il ristorante La stanza un po' piccola ma con tutto il necessario. Un po alto il prezzo complessivo ma forse dovuto all'estrema comodità per gli spostamenti. Nel complesso ottimo soggiorno

Gradevole albergo in posizione ottimale
Soggiorno gradevole, anche se iniziato male con l'assegnazione di una camera ben arredata ma ricavata da una struttura, credo in alluminio, posizionata sul terrazzo e collegata all'hotel solo dalla scala esterna di servizio; grazie al personale molto professionale e sempre garbato, siamo comunque stati riprotetti in altra struttura per una notte, Il secondo giorno, con la riassegnazione delle camere, è andata decisamente meglio; anche se i bagni, ad onor del vero sempre puliti, dovrebbero essere ripristinati nelle docce (siliconature fatiscenti e perdite abbondanti di acqua) e nelle porte (annerite e prese di umidità). La posizione dell'hotel è davvero centralissima, vicino a tutti i monumenti principali di Sultanahmet, raggiungibili a piedi, e sopratutto vicino alla fermata del tram che con pochissimo ti porta da un posto all'altro dell'immensa città. Pur essendo posizionato in una zona di grande passaggio e con attorno molti locali affollati fino a tarda sera le camere sono abbastanza silenziose.

Nella stanza, all'alba, filtra la luce pur essendoci i tendoni. La colazione è ricca e varia, il personale è cortese attento alle richieste.

Posizione fantastica, camera ottima, personale ok
Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel dal 10 al 13 ottobre 2014. Lo consigliamo vivamente soprattutto per la posizione fantastica. Tutti i monumenti principali erano al massimo a 1 km a piedi. Metro e autobus a 30 m. Il personale gentile e preparato per ogni necessità. La colazione è stata varia ed abbondante. Non abbiamo provato il ristorante, ma immaginiamo che fosse all'altezza di tutto il resto visto come era frequentato.

ottima grazie alla centralita' dell'hotel vi consiglio di mangiare negli innumerevoli ristoranti con terrazza con vista panoramica sulla citta' e di andare sulla torre di galata c'e' un panorama a 360° stupendo, fatelo al tramonto

Hotel super centralissimo
L'hotel è situato in posizione veramente perfetta, il personale è sempre molto disponibile e gentile. La camera è carina e il rapporto qualità/prezzo addirittura ottimo. La pulizia è molto accurata e non ho riscontrato alcun difetto. Anche il ristorante è molto buono. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Ho trascorso solo due giornate a Istanbul di ritorno da un altro viaggio. La posizione centralissima dell'albergo è perfetta per visitare a piedi il centro della città ed è altrettanto comoda per lo spostamento con i mezzi per raggiungere tante altre mete di sicuro interesse (che purtroppo in due giorni non è possibile assaporare). Il personale è molto disponibile, i servizi ottimi, la camera pulita, adeguatamente spaziosa e dotata di tutto il necessario. Lo consiglio.

Comodo e davvero carino!
L'hotel Faros, è situato nel centro del quartiere Sulthanamet, a due passi dalla Moschea Blu, di fianco alla cisterna, sulla Divanyolu, strada principale da cui passano i tram che portano in tutta la città. Le camere sono moderne, appena ristrutturate, spaziose e arredate con gusto. Il ristorante dell'albergo ha uno sconto del 15% per i clienti del l'hotel, e si mangia davvero bene: cucina turca e internazionale curata nel dettaglio. Siamo stati davvero bene anche perché sono stati tutti molto gentili e disponibili... Consiglio vivamente!

siamo stati solo 3 gg.ma siamo stati molto bene,l'hotel è in un'ottima posizione centrale, vicino a tutti i luoghi di maggior interesse(moschea blu, palazzo topkapi ecc)e nella strada c'è tutto ciò che può servire (farmacia,ufficio cambio ,ristoranti ecc).La camera ampia e luminosa.IL personale gentile e disponibile,molto buona la colazione servita in una saletta molto carina e simile ad un bistrot parigino,ci tornerei molto volentieri !!!!!!

Fantastica la posizione (a pochi minuti da moltissimi punti di interesse), personale gentilissimo e disponibile, albergo assolutamente pulito e colazione comunque adeguata per varietà e quantità. Il bar è fornito e i prezzi adeguati. Fanno il caffè all'italiana (lavazza con macchina cimbali) buono. Lo consiglio tranquillamente a tutti.

centralissimo ma poco confortevole
La posizione è strategica. Praticamente nel cuore della istanbul antica da dove bisogna partire per visitare la città. Fermata tram proprio davanti all'hotel. Camere pulite e confortevoli ma praticamente nessun servizio nell'hotel. Hall e reception inesistenti. Zero spazio comune. Colazione scarsa. Nel complesso vale la pena andarci ma c'è sicuramente di meglio allo stesso prezzo.

All'arrivo - ore 12.30 - camere non ancora disponibili; i bagagli, depositati in un angolo del locale, che avrebbe dovuto essere la hall, ma facente parte del locale bar dell'albergo, vi sono rimasti sino alle 18,30 nonostante l'impegno a farceli trovare nelle camere; banco reception costituito da tavolo sul quale era posato un computer e dove un ragazzino stava disegnando per i fatti suoi; dietro il tavolo un grande cartello indicava il percorso per i servizi igienicil bellamente utilizzati da tutti i passanti per la strada! Una delle camere assegnataci piccola, mal disposta, spazi inutilizabli, ostacoli varl (sgabello valigia davanti ingresso), sostituitaci il giorno seguente. Le foto pubblicate sul vostro sito non corrispondono certo alla realtà in quanto danno l'impressione di trovarsi di fronte a struttura con spazi adeguati come in effetti dovrebbe essere un Hotel che si fregia delle 4 stelle !!! Nulla da recriminare per ciò che riguarda la pulizia ed il servizio ristorazione

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Faros and my overall experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff at Faros surpassed expectations with their warm hospitality and attentiveness. Every request was handled promptly, and their genuine dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. Hotel is centrally located and is 5 to 10 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Museum two minutes from the Sultanahmet tram station. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of luxury, convenience, and impeccable service during their stay.

Stayed at the Faros in early October 2023 for a four night break. Really lovely staff and excellent location for major sights - easily walkable or tram stop very near by. Note: poor access by taxi if that is your preferred mode of transport as area is mostly pedestrianised. Not a problem if on foot or using the well priced and convenient tram. I used the coach from the IST airport to Aksaray (136 TL or about £4 each way) then walked the mile or so to the hotel. Could have used tram if I had bought an Istanbulkart but couldn't find a machine at the airport). Breakfast was good from the continental buffet, but you had to ask for tea or coffee. The restaurant had nice food at tourist rate prices. The only problems I encountered were noise and music at night until the early hours (restaurants at street level directly below). Also, I had booked a standard double room through Expedia but was given only a tiny single (room 106) with no other rooms available. The aircon failed after the second night. I'd definitely stay here again if I could guarantee getting the room I had paid for.

We spend seven nights and booked two rooms, one for my siblings and mother and one for myself. The service was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Overall location is amazing and would definitely staff again.

Kommer absolut boka detta hotell igen!
Kommer absolut komma till Faros hotell igen, jätte nöjd! Personalen var hjälpsamma, jätte trevliga, god frukost och städningen var super bra - det var städat varje dag och att handdukarna byts varje dag ett plus där. Dock behöver hotellet vård och reperation då dörrarna till toaletten samt dörren till vårt rum var ganska trög/ sliten.

Die Lage des Faros Hotel ist sehr gut Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht den Bildern ( Bad: Armatur komplett locker; Duschtüre schließt nicht und WC-Taster fällt herunter) Die Wände sind ramponiert und die Türzargen wurden notdürftig renoviert. Im Grunde sehr alte Zimmer und nicht akzeptabel. Frühstück ist sehr einfach und fü Cappuccino zahlt man separat...nicht sehr ansprechend Personal ist super nett...hier gibt es kein Thema. Fazit: altes Hotel und die Zimmer müssen dringend renoviert werden

Das Personal ist überaus zuvorkommend und höflich. Sie sind stets bemüht zu helfen und stehen für jegliche Fragen zur Verfügung. Das Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale Lage, in einer schönen Umgebung. Auch die Öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind direkt zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat seinen eigenen Charme, allerdings sollte man beim Bad ein Auge zudrücken. Sehr schöne Unterkunft, die ich gerne weiterempfehle.

Such a charming little hotel with very friendly staff and a perfect situation. Unfortunately very let down by the cleanliness of the restaurant but mostly the rooms. The hotel is in desperate need of redecorating and will then be a very nice place to stay. Such a shame. I hope they get it right.
