“We came to do some biking in the area. I was concerned we had booked too far from Lanesboro, but it was perfect. The drive is beautiful from there Houston has a really nice bike trail, too! We visited several towns in the area and this home was a great place to come back to each day. We stayed our trip at the Houston Visitor Center, since we got to town early. “Most of our family grew up in Winona and gathered at our mom's house. She passed away last September so we needed a place to stay. The Village House Inn was PERFECT! It is a beautiful place with a large gathering space and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a chance to share meals and memories and it was a wonderful setting to do that.”
