“We came north for Christmas because my daughter and her whole family live here. When you consider 5 grandchildren ranging in ages from 14 to 27 and 1 wife, 1 fiancée and 1 significant other plus my daughter and son-in-law. That’s a lot in one house! “The cabin was nice. The listing was not clear as to which cabin had an unobstructed view of the water. We were booked in the Garden cottage. It sets behind the other two cabins. You can see the water between the other two buildings. The cabin was comfortable and in a convenient location. ”

“The only deficiency is the tv. VERY, VERY, VERY slow response time for everything- turning it on, changing stations. You could hit the button, go to the restroom and could still not have responded. “This was a great place to stay for Labor Day Weekend 2023! We stayed in Cabin #1, which was very clean and well taken care of. The owners of this property have thought of everything to make sure they provide the most comfortable stay for their quests. There is a BBQ grill with utensils, fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans/utensils etc... The beach with a private firepit was also awesome! This property is a must stay!! Thanks Al and Vicki...we hope to stay at your property again very soon!”

“The cabin is so cozy, clean, and exactly what I needed! Host is great and communicative and made check-in and checkout a breeze! Everything went seamlessly and I can't wait to come back! The state park is a nice walk, or super short drive with cool rocks and really nice trails. “We love these little cabins right on the beach! Our kids love to play on the beach all day. The cabins are cute and have most of what you need. My parents were next door and they had more kitchen utensils, serving bowls, and coffee cups than we did. It’s interesting that they aren’t stocked evenly but it all worked out. “My husband and I fell in love with Lovango Hideaway the minute we opened the gate. All four cottages are cute and well-maintained. “This is a cute little cottage on Van Eaten lake in Oscoda, MI. We had a late check-in and the process was easy. Thank you Joy and Jim for making our trip a great experience and very welcoming. They have everything you need and then some. It was very quiet and relaxing and lots to do in the area. “We had a great time here. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely come back. We had our little issues with the smart shower but thanks to your tech support we did fine. This had nothing to do with the shower it’s just the fact my sister and I are not tech savvy.😁 I appreciate the ease of communication with everything. View was spectacular!!”
