Colazione eccellente, personale gentile ma la struttura è vecchia, neceasir dice manutenzione, le cameee piccole il letto piccolo e sxomodo, la cosa peggiore è il fatto che la camera era piano terra e fuoei ci sono i visitatori fuori. Assolutamente non da 5 stelle

Bella struttura, bella piscina, camera piccola ( prenotata una superior) letto alla francese, troppo piccolo per 2 pulizia non eccezionale. In complesso un buon soggiorno ( 1 settimana) ma pensavo meglio

Una notte a Sintra
Avevamo prenotato una suite vista giardino e ci hanno datto una camera diversa da quella riservat. Comunque, dopo avvertire il responsabile prontamente (dopo poca attesa) ci hanno cambiato. Il hotel è molto bello (è veramente un palazzo!) ma bisogna di qualche ristrutturazione. A fine settembre anche se la temperatura era molto gradevole non era più possibile usare la piscina (mancanza di manutenzione). In generale un soggiorno molto bello, consigliato il ristorante per cena, qualità molto buona anche se ambiente molto tranquillo. Colazione buona.

Mi sono trovato benissimo, come
Mi sono trovato benissimo, come se fossi a casa mia, l'albergo ha un arredamento d'epoca molto gradevole, il servizio è ottimo, il personale gentile. Lo raccomando vivamente a chi apprezza il relax e l'atmosfera degli alberghi di una volta. (Sarebbe gradita una postazione internet per i clienti che non vogliono portarsi il computer da casa).

While the grounds were very nice and the staff quite friendly, we were very disappointed for the price we paid for the night. If you are looking to sweat off the Portuguese wine while sleeping, this is your place. I’ve never been so hot at a hotel and the AC was not operational. We managed to get a window open but had to use my shoe to prop it open. Finally to top it off we got very little sleep given our neighbour was testing the limits of apnea and snoring. If it’s not the peacocks crowing 24/7 then it’s staff having full conversations at 2AM just as you fall asleep. One more thing, don’t count on any shuttle service and plan on paying €15-20 for an Uber or the 20 minute hike up the steep hill. Disappointed given the high price!!

Beautiful property. Room was not great. Paid for pool view, there was none. Bed was a double. For two adults this is not adequate. Could t sleep.

We missed the run off for the hotel on the first go round, but other than that everything was amazing. One of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed.

The staff are very gracious and helpful. Very professional, but warm. I loved all the nice touches - fresh honey on the breakfast buffet, local pastries, etc. The pool area and back garden are stunning at sunset.

There were lots of special touches by this friendly and professional staff here that made us feel taken care of from check in to check out. The property is beautiful (the building itself as well as the gardens) and it was very easy to both park and walk to downtown Sintra. Everything is so elegant feeling.

I love everything about it, except one little thing, my room was on the ground floor by the driveway, I could hear the cara pass by, people who passed by were talking loudly and screaming on the phone which woke me up a few times, although everything else was wonderful but I didn’t have a good night sleep due to the noises. Next time, I will definitely book a room in the back of the hotel, much more quiet.

Beaux espaces communs mais chambre inconfortable
Bel hôtel, bien situé dans Sintra, avec des espaces communs (salons, terrasse, piscine extérieure) très agréables et au calme. Le petit déjeuner est également très bon. Toutefois, au regard du prix pratiqué, les chambres manquent cruellement : - de confort : lit de 140 cm de large car c'est du mobilier "d'époque", matelas sans indépendance de couchage, une mini bouteille d'eau pour 2 et 2 misérables capsules de café (qui ne sont pas réapprovisionnées automatiquement) tout le reste du minibar étant payant - de calme : aucune isolation (on entend tout du couloir et de la chambre voisine), le jour passe à travers la porte de la chambre (on voit le couloir par le haut et par le bas de la porte une fois la porte fermée) - point de détail, mais pour le niveau affiché de l'hôtel il manque également une salle de sport En somme si vous venez pour l'extérieur foncez, en revanche si vous cherchez le confort et le calme dans votre chambre passez votre tour.

Gorgeous property with stunning views in every direction. Fantastic staff and service. We were there for two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend a stay or a visit to the restaurant at the very least.
