The hotel is situated less than a 10-minute walk from St. Pancras, King's Cross and Euston railway stations and from several Tube stations as well (Russell Sq., King's Cross, Goodge St., Euston) in a quiet crescent in front of a small public park, but close to many pubs and restaurants in the lively but elegant neighbourhood of Bloomsbury, with lots of students around. Rooms and bathrooms are relatively spacious and very clean, simply decorated and with essential facilities (kettle and coffee/tea in any room), but all you need for a short stay and if you don't spend your day at the hotel. There is no lift, our request for a room on the ground floor was kindly satisfied, so just ask if you can't walk up many stairs. The breakfast room is the main common area but is spacious enough and offers a pleasant setting to start your day. Staff are extremely kind and ready to help with any request. I'll certainly return if I want a good ratio quality/price simple accommodation in a central but quiet neighbourhood away from the tourist crowds!
