Dear Vibeke, I am sorry that the apartment did not live up to your expectations. It is, indeed, we who are at fault as the outgoing guests did not give us enough time to prepare the flat properly and had left it in a terrible mess. We must apologize for that and we will make sure, in future, that we get more time to prepare.

Dear Christopher, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you feel that you did not receive what you were expecting. Firstly, the late preparation of the apartment was due to the outgoing guest's tardiness over which we could not control. I do not recognize the fact that there were hairs all over the mattress as we change all beds for new linen. Your description of the apartment relates to the fact that we let you in for convenience while the room was being prepared. Normally we do not let anyone in until the rooms are fully prepared. We had allocated you a two bedroom apartment and not the Standard Studio that you booked with a separate living room and kitchen. The electrics are not faulty and are approved safe although you noted a melted shade over on of the lights due to a faulty bulb. Your picture of the bed is of one single bed in the second bedroom and not of the King Sized bed in the main bedroom. We ask all guests to let us know if there is anything you need or would like to comment on but heard nothing from you. I can assure you that this is a no smoking establishment and we do not recognize the smoke you mention and could easily have been blown through the building from the public house behind us. Unfortunately we are in a busy area of London and it it is difficult to avoid all the "pollution" surrounding us. Our location is second to none and I expect that is why you booked us and we offer a rate consistent with what we offer.

We always ask our guests to ask if there is anything they need or find missing so we may correct the problem. We do have a pest control programme from a renowned company and sometimes the problems occur. Thank you for noting that all linen is supplied from our hotel linen company along with all toiletries. While we might not be of the highest standard we do offer excellent value for money for such a convenient location.

Dear Charlotte, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Your description of our hotel is not good. However, I do not recognize it and we do tell every person that checks in to come back to us to let us know if anything is a problem which was not done so we make make their stay more comfortable. We note your comments and have made changes to the management to help improve the situation.

You are, of course, free not to recommend this hotel to anyone else. However, many guests have spent a very satisfactory time here on their visit to London as we are so well located and reasonable.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your comments. We have made improvements to the toilet that you had problem with. Although the toilet flushed satisfactorily when actuated properly on the first flush, if the reservoir has not fully refilled before the second flush the tank might not empty properly. A new mechanism has now been fitted.

All Our Apartments are thoroughly cleaned before any guest checks in with fresh linen and towels as supplied by a specialist supplier County Linen,bearing in mind that the guest died not complain during her/ his stay . Accordingly we highly deplore the guest's dishonest conduct in this respect. by make making such false allegations especially when making an Anonymous review bearing that the guest got more than his Penny worth..

The flats are thoroughly before checking in by the guests with fresh linen and towels as supplied by Counties Linen Despite getting more than their Penny worth they decide to make such stereo comments.

We have No dealings with Hotels.com directly but unfortunately Expedia charge us 18% commission then pass it to Hotels.com who charges us a further 10% and as a result we are faced with cheap skate guest that we have to accommodate which have low budget and expect far much than their Penny worth and rather primitive the type which have the budget to stay in a hostel.

All of our apartments are sleaned wuth fresh towels and linen as supplied by a Specialist linen supplier Counties linen. Accordingly we refute totally the guests allegations and highly deplore his or dishonest conduct in this respect being in the most up market area of Kensington and Chelsea bearing in mind they got more than their Penny worth
