Sono arrivato a Londra presso la struttura e la struttura ha cancellato la mia prenotazione senza avermi comunicato tale situazione. Nonostante il disagio che abbiamo vissuto, non si sono preoccupati di trovare una soluzione.

Fuorviante la presentazione sul sito di Expedia
Ho prenotato questo hotel, in quanto la persona con cui ho viaggiato era già stata nel 2010 e si era trovata molto bene. Il problema si è posto subito all'arrivo: ci siamo dirette all'ingresso dell'hotel "The Montcalm London Marble Arch", n. 34-40 Great Cumberland Place: alla reception ci comunicano che NON siamo in quell'hotel ma in quello di fronte che si chiama...."The Marble Arch by Montcalm", n. 31 Great Cumberlnad Place...fuorviante per chiunque. La camera prenotata era una "Doppia De Luxe" secondo la definizione di Expedia. Ci trattengono una cauzione di 100 sterline dalla carta di credito, che sarebbero state riaccreditate in uscita... Ci portano alla camera: un loculo al LOWER GROUND, al piano sotterraneo, sotto la reception, senza spazio per girarsi intorno al letto e con una finestra minuscola. Abbiamo chiesto un upgrade gratuito per una camera un po' più spaziosa. Note negative anche sul costo e la qualità del breakfast: poca scelta e costo molto elevato. L'ultima sera abbiamo ordinato il room service: il cameriere ha posato il vassoio sul letto..., posate solo per una persona, niente tovaglioli, il pane sembrava non fosse disponibile ed è arrivato dopo molto tempo...la Caeser salad che avrebbe dovuto contenere del pollo non lo aveva. Ci tengo a puntualizzare che i nomi delle camere sul sito dell'hotel sono Berkley Double e Hyde Park Club Double, nessuna camera è definita semplicemente "Doppia De Luxe". Inaffidabili quindi le offerte di Expedia.

Typical small london room, but clean and adequately comfortable bed. Pictures of room (Club Room) look deceiving, or at least I did not get the type of room I ordered. The staff was excellent and very helpful and courteous. They get a 5 star A plus rating. I was a sole traveler annd stayed only one night and room was barely adequate in size.I could not imagine the difficulty for two people for a more extended stay. Hotel lacked amenities except for a small breakfast room, although there was free bottled water in the room. Again, the staff was excellent and must be commended for their services.

The entrance to the hotel was nice. Reception staff were pleasant. When we walked in the room it smelled of cigarette smoke with air freshener over the top. The room itself was clean but quite small. Fine for 1 night but not a longer stay. The bathroom however was quite disgusting and in much need of renovation. Loose floor tiles and wall tiles. The shower cubicle obviously leaks and there has been some awful silicon work done to try and fix it. Dirty marks and limescale everywhere, which is pretty obvious in a black and silver room. The wooden vanity unity was all corroded where water has ingressed over time. All of this resulted in a very strong mouldy mildew smell that was quite overpowering. Even with the door shut i could still smell it whilst laying in bed. We didn't want to use the shower because it was so gross. Very unexpected for £210 a night. Disappointed and wouldn't stay again.

They allow my booking to go through and on arrival at reception, they outsource it to a different hotel of inferior quality with the excuse that there is maintenance issues. This hotel should be removed from Expedia immediately.

Rooms are very small. They moved us to the hotel at 31 because 34 was under construction. We asked the staff for the room to be cleaned at 3pm and ignored our request

どこにでもアクセスしやすい立地ながら、喧騒から少し離れたエリアにあり、ハイドパークも近く、とても便利でした。スタッフもとても親切で上品で、ホテルの雰囲気もとても良かったです。 ただ、私が割り当てられたお部屋は、日本のビジネスホテルより狭く、スーツケースを広げると歩くところがなくなるような狭さで、隣のお部屋の音も響くなど、お部屋の中で過ごすのが快適ではなかったのがお値段の割に少し残念でした。

The worst room in London ..
This was a horrible experience. A terrible room, dirty covers, and poorly cleaned. Very small room, with a View to taped and sealed windows 1.5 meters away. The floor and wall by the windows were very wet and pretty unhealty to look at and to step un. I made sure to document everything. If this was a cheap room, a hostel or something worse, I could accept it, but I paid almost 6000 danish kroner for two nights without breakfast. And now a few weeks after my stay they withdraw almost 400 danish kroner extra .. maybe because the mini fridge didnt work.

Hotellet hadde en fin beliggenhet, men rommet var veldig lite og dobbeltsengen var den minste dobbeltsengen jeg har sett. Det var en dobbeldyne, noe som ikke fungerer for oss. Rommet vi fikk lå i underatasjen, det luktet fuktig der nede. Rett utenfor vinduet vårt var uteplassen til naboleiligheten. Vi måtte ha gardinene foran vinduet hele tiden for å ikke bli sett. Naboene kunne se rett inn. Jeg mener det ikke var vært prisen.

Verste hotellet ever!
Worst hotel ever! Ekstremt møkkete og støvete. Sure resepsjonister som var mer opptatt av mobiltelefon og hverandre, enn gjestene. Ansatte røkte i trappen slik at det luktet inn - både på rom i kjelleren og 2. etg. Vi gikk i fella med bestilling fordi det stod «5 stjerner», noe som er gitt av «gjester». Ant har de ansatte/venner stemt frem. Frokosten stod vi over, etter å ha hørt at den var udelikat. Har bodd på hotel verden over i ulike kategorier - aldri opplevd maken.

3 star at best.
3 star B&B. If you need somewhere to sleep in the nicest part of London then its fine. Wish i read the reviews before booking. Room was dirty, broken lamp and mirror, toilet flush fell out. Breakfast is a a cheap buffet. I really have had better breakfast in 3 star B&Bs. Deluxe double is the size of a broom cupboard. Half used shampoo bottles in shower!.

Awful customer service!
Awful customer service terrible reception staff! Would not accept my card payment. Staff would then not allow me to leave the building even though I said I had another card in my car. Then I have ended up paying twice so I need a refund. Will never stay again!

We booked the room as it was stated to be 'bigger than others in London'. When we were shown to the room it was little bigger than a double bed. I went to reception to ask that what I was given was the deluxe double as the size of the room was tiny and the receptionist couldn't really be bothered with me and just kept answering yes to every question. The room itself was shabby with worn carpet, holes in the headboard, missing items like robes and mini bar and a cracked sink in the extremely small shower room- not the 4 star luxury hotel that we were sold and overall very disappointing. The attitude of the receptionist was really the worst I have encountered- but the other staff at the hotel were all very good and helpful.
