Hello Dawn.I am sorry you had this experience, it clearly states on all our booking literature that check in is after 5pm,(17.00 hrs). unless pre arrangement has been made with ourselves where I would have been here to check you in, or a front door key would have been left outside for you. As it was a few days before Christmas I had been in the city centre shopping. The room was there for you and we waited until 12.00 midnight on your arrival.RegardsJohn & Margaret Groarty House & Manor.

Dear NancyI do not understand your review?when you stayed with us you stayed in our family room which has two singles beds and a double bed in it this the largest room on our property and is very big?The room is ensuite the toilet is securely screwed to the floor the ceiling light is working and so is the shaving light above the mirror so all lights are working?if it was coffee served with breakfast we could have made the coffee to your satisfaction if you had told so?The curtesy tray in room has plenty of sachets of Coffee and tea on them? I really don't think the review you have posted is for our property?I think all our previous reviews will bear this out?regards Margaret and John

This is an incorrect review the Guest has agreed but does not know how to take it down we do not have a dog! their bad experience was in accommodation they when to after us. regard Margaret and John

I am surprised to hear from you that your room was cold, why did you not raise this issue when you were here and we could have sorted it out. Each room has there own individual thermostat which each guest can control themselves. There are two single folding beds which are in a large cupboard which does not impede on guests as the room is very large.
