This is a nice place,the area was pretty and the cabin was nicely furnished but be aware that no soap, shampoo or dish soap is provided, the toilet room is also very small( like airplane or smaller) Also there is a $95 fee for bed linens as well as a cleaning fee and a deposit on top of what you already paid.

Reception were helpful and check in/ check out was easy. The underfloor heating didn’t work which meant the lounge area felt a little cold but reception gave us a portable heater which did work well. We were comfortable and I can imagine it would be stunning in good weather (we were unlucky with all the rain). There’s a tumble dryer and fresh linen etc. WiFi was excellent as was the tv choice for wet days. Deposit was returned quickly. There are extra fees (cleaning and bed linen) but the bed linen and cleaning were worth the money.

1. Many hidden fees, i.e. not included in payment at booking (e.g. cleaning, dog) 2. Sink in bathroom is too small - barely big enough to wash hands!!! 3. Furniture worn 4. Not nicely decorated as on photos

We feel cheated bcs why we have to pay additional €155 for cleanning fee + €17 tourist fee upon checked in ???? It was NOt mentioned anything during booking processs. No note whatsoever beside/under the final price. And we found out in hotel it was written down so amall in term of condition. This is thief !!! We wont booked in this hotel if we have to pay so much and wont do under hotel.com which way more exepensive the others. We claimed for dumerage !! Please arrange asap. Thank god luckily we have the money that day otherwis ehow we cover it ?we were in 21 days road trip so we count every single expenses. Not a stupidity like this. Waiting your action asap

Dear Mrs Lela I Qyma, Thank you for your stay. We read your review, we read you were happy with the accommodation, as we read no comment at all about it. You are clearly unhappy with the booking website of Hotels.com You did not see on that website the note about the service fee (towels, bed linen, made-up beds, final cleaning), and about the tourist taxes. Unfortunately we have no influence at all on this website! it is Hotel.com who chooses to mention these costs separately. Please contact them also in name of other travelers to change their website. Thank you for your stay, we hope to meet again some time in the near future.

Insgesamt gut
Es war eine schöne Umgebung, ein schön eingerichtetes Haus und nette Leute. Das einzige was nicht gut war, war das dreckige Geschirr, Töpfe und Besteck. Das hat leider alles geklebt. Ansonsten top!

Fin omgivning, vi bodde på en ö och fick ro över med roddbåt, väldigt mysigt men är man inte van kan det vara en bra information att få innan man bokar.

Lake bungalow was great!
Caroline was a great hostess, helping us with bike rentals and local navigation, and other entertainment ideas. We missed the early checkout time (10a.m.) but fortunately it was not a problem. We loved the bungalow and the lake and the local area, very easy trip into Amsterdam or Utrecht, and one of the very best sunsets we've ever seen in Europe!

Udover lejen som udbydes, skal der betales 155 EURO til rengøring, uanset lejemålets længde, så dette lejemål kan blive lige så dyrt som et fem stjernet hotel, Hotels Com burde oplyse dette i den leje der fremgår ved booking, Vi havde håndværker 4 ud af fem dage da flere ting ikke virkede, komfur virkede først 3 dag vi var der, dog var personalet flinke og gav os gratis mad første aften. Det var tydeligt lejemålet ikke var klargjort til udlejning efter renovering, der var stadig plast og pap i ovn, opvaske maskine og køleskab, brændeovn måtte ikke bruges og var tildækket af sort plast, der var byggestøv mange steder og vinduer punkteret, træls når udsigten eller er fremragende. Jeg håber Hotels Com vil se på udbudsprisen, så betaling for rengøring ses på den pris i oplyser, det er en stor skuffelse, at skulle betale for dette.

Abenteuerurlaub extrawagand
gebucht wurde die auf der Homepage abgebildete Ferienwohnung, bereitgestellt/ zur Verfügung wurde eine minderwertig Ferienwohnung mit sehr schöner Lage.Nicht Sauber, Essenreste von den Vorgängern, Spinnenweben, Schimmel im Kühlschrank. Zu erreichen nur über Seeweg ca. 25 m "schöne Idee" abder nicht bei Orkanstärken mit Ruderboot bei Wellengänge von mehr als 1,5 m mit Hochschwangerer Frau und 2 Kindern. Zur Notlösung wurden wir in unsere eigenliche "gebuchte" Ferienwohnung untergekommen, die aber vermietet, die dem anschein doppelt vermietet wurden. Die Ferienwohnung war nicht beheißt gewesen und hatten nicht die Möglichkeit - in die "nicht" zu erreichende Ferienwohnung zu gelangen - hatten keine Kleidung und Lebensmittel zu Verfügung - keine Unterstützung der Vermieter der Ferienwohnung. Klärende Gespräche waren nicht möglich,meine Schwangere hatte kontinuierlich Stress , das die Geburt gefährdet war. Zudem Abreise erfolgte an dem folgenden Tag. Insgesamt 26 Std. Aufenthalt. Würde gerne noch dahin - aber irgendwie kann ich mich nichts dazu bewegen nochmal so ein flopp einzugehen.

Dear Michel, Thank you very much for your stay at the Houseboat, and thank you for your comment that you liked it. We read in your review about the damage deposit. On the website of Hotels.com / Expedia it is mentioned that the damage deposit is paid at the accommodation. In the past we did send arriving guests an invoice to their mail address so they could do the payment in advance by bank transfer. Some guests did not appreciate this because they expected to pay the damage deposit at arrival. To refund the damage deposit we need indeed the guests IBAN details. The refund, in case there are no damages, by bank, gives the guest the opportunity to leave at any time they wish. There is no necessity to wait until the accommodation is checked, and the check-out can be done quickly. As we read on your review you would preferred another way of refund. As you see, so many people, so many wishes. It is difficult to find a manner to handle this issue to the satisfaction of everybody. We hope we explained this issue, of course we will consider your opinion too, we will talk to our future guests. We hope to meet again in the future, we would be glad to welcome you again on your next vacation. Yours sincerely,

Worst hotel experience EVER Never Again!!!!!!!!!!!
We booked this hotel while vacationing in France. We decided at the last minute to drive up and stay a couple of days. It listed the place as a hotel but it was far from that. You were supplied towels and dishes. But no soap or tissue. Now from my experiences staying at a hotel they at least supplied the basics in small quantities though. Now for the cost I don't want to forget the hidden fees that we didn't know until we arrived at the quote on quote hotel. I cant even remember the total but for the price it wasn't worth it. Its to far from everything and it wasn't even clean. Not to mention the bugs (spiders) crawling around.Also and don't let me forget the hot water tank (Big Issue) it only allowed 2 people to take a shower comfortably. When we complained front desk clerk said that the tank takes several hours to heat up. So that messed our day up with 4 adults trying to bathe that morning. I think if the room or cabin sleeps 4 people then 4 people should be able to shower. Never again and I warn any others to stay away and find a decent real HOTEL.
