Check in is done through a Window even though a lobby is available. The 2 guys that work in reception are extremely rude and should not be in the hospitality industry. We asked for a late check out and was told the latest was 2 pm . We then asked if we could store our bags due to a late flight he told us we could but it would cost us $20 per hour yet the website states storage is available with no mention of a fee. After i asked if we could stay until 3pm in the room the guy accepted. We even confirmed with the other employee. When we went to check out the guy tried to charge us $30 cash and said i must have forgotten he told me that a $30 charge was applicable. Both my wife and myself did not hear anything about a charge. The employee became very aggressive towards my wife and me . We have been travelling around the USA for 6 weeks and this was the first experience of a hostile and rude interaction. The owner of the property should know who is managing their business because they are not giving it a good name. Definitely would not recommend this property to anyone travelling to Hollywood

Relatively clean. Loud - walls were paper thin. I could hear the person mext door snoring so clearly that i thought it was my mom whom I shared the room with. Other than that, it was about what you expect from a motel like this.

I like legends a lot because it’s conveniently located has parking for $10 which is pretty cheap compared to other places have good room rates and the rooms are decent and clean. It’s definitely one of the better cost-effective hotels amongst all of them in Hollywood.

There was a homeless encampment literally outside the property. The clerk who checked us in was a bit rude because i didn't get my credit card out fast enough to suit him. You have to stand outside to check in even though there was a perfectly acceptable lobby. People arguing right outside our window at 7:30 a.m. and lots of door slamming going on

It felt totally like I was going to another country when I flew over 3000 miles to be checked in outside in broad daylight the staff for what it’s worth or the guy who checked me in dismissed clarify from the other side of a glass he was scared, nor does he let anyone come into the lobby of the motel the motel was very nice and clean. However, the check-in process was insane and you definitely do not feel safe with the way the check in personnel acts nor his process

Tbh for the price I understand, but first day at the hotel front desk are not so friendly, felt like I was being watch 24/7, the men at night was mean & lazy, the room wasn’t so clean dusty at night I was laying down took the bed sheets out and I wasn’t the only one on the bed I had a huge weird looking roach with claws, the wall edges wasn’t clean super dusty and mold around the wall and floor, like the place looks really nice dated with furniture but they gotta clean more so after I saw the roach and told the old guy on the front desk about the roach his answer was” what you want me to do” I like sir I have video and pictures of the roach, he was like take your stuff out and I’ll give you another room after that I wasn’t even safe no more couldn’t sleep no more next morning I go out come back at night and came back to a clean room but I still felt traumatize to even sleep or use the bed sheets, if I had enough money I would of left the hotel I was so disappointed, but who ever own that hotel ya gotta do better with the people at the front desk they don’t have no Costumer service skills they don’t even smile but the cleaning lady was nice!! And that $200 deposit is a lil to much never been to a hotel with so much rules but that’s all I gotta say, won’t be staying at that hotel no more next time I’ll pay the extra money and be more comfortable and feel safe

I stayed for 4 nights. The room was so dusty and had white sticky stuff in the tv and dresser. I was so discussed i bought wipes and decenfect to clean the room. The floors looked like they have not cleaned in weeks. The property looks pretty but so dirty like it was a pimp motel at one point.

Started scary, but made right…
This hotel seems to have had a recent renovation. The lobby was closed and you could only use the walk up window to communicate. We checked in about 5:30 PM, so it was already dark. Parking is very limited… I went and checked in while my kids went into the room, there was a note on a picture on the wall, which terrified my kids. I took a picture of the note and went back to the walk up window showed him and asked to be moved. Originally, he said he’d move us upstairs but instead put us in a room right next to the other one to make it easier to relocate. Unfortunately, being on the first floor, you hear all of the street traffic… and the homeless in their tents just outside our room window. We all slept horribly the first night. The second night was better, thankfully, not nearly as loud.
