La struttura e’ nuova e ben curata in una posizione ottima davanti alla spiaggia più bella dell’isola. Colazione e pranzo buoni, la cena impresentabile. Il servizio molto lento e con davvero poche attenzioni per quanto riguarda la parte del ristorante, per l’hotel invece personale molto più qualificato. Comunque l’hotel migliore di Maafushi ma evitate la cena!!!

Albergo fronte spiaggia, affollata nelle ore centrali con mare e bariera molto belle. Personale gentile, ti vengono a prendere al porto. Camere pulite. Colazione e cena nella media. Nell'isola ci sono tantissimi servizi. Abitanti cordiali.

Consiglio l'hotel a chiunque stia cercando il soggiorno ideale per la propria vacanza. Staff eccellente ed attento a qualsiasi esigenza, sempre sorridente, pieno di risorse, paziente e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. La posizione dell'hotel lo rende, a mio parere, il migliore dell'isola, trovandosi esattamente sulla bikini beach e fornendo una vista dalla stanza a dir poco mozzafiato: ogni mattina ci svegliavamo con un panorama dai colori turchese e verde acqua. Per non far mancare niente al nostro soggiorno, l'hotel è pure parecchio competente nell'organizzazione di escursioni sia di snorkeling, sia di visita dei Resort. Pulizia ottima, cibo di qualsiasi tipo e a prezzi abbordabili, per nulla cari. Davvero un'esperienza da sogno!

Good compromise
We spent 1 week here. Hotel is new, rooms are quite comfortable. Food is ok but quite repeating. Staff at the hotel is nice. Some noise early on the morning for the constructions should be avoided. The beach in front of the hotel is nice but the hotel has only 10 sun beds for free for all their guests and you have to pay if you do not get any of those. Water is not a problem as it is provided at meals plus hotel gives you 2 bottles everyday. Nightlife in Maafushi is quite boring and at 9 PM all is quite. Globally I recommend this hotel as long as you do not have atoll resorts expectations.

Stayed here from Nov 24-29. This place is clean and the room was spacious. I like that our room is facing the sea With balcony. All the staffs are very polite and helpful. Excellent place to stay in Maafushi.

Staff is really friendly and the rooms are comfortable The only thing I have to complain about is that the staff took a day to deliver something I had asked for, and I had to ask 3 different people to get it done. Apart from that, it was a great experience for the price we paid

After a long journey traveling to get to the Maldives, we were greeted at the jetty by employees from the Kaani Grand Seaview. The manager, Tiger, personally greeted us and escorted us to the facility, which is a stone’s throw and short walk from the jetty. First impressions with a sincere welcome after extended travel time made a huge difference. But even after the first impression, we were regularly greeted by Tiger, he always made us feel welcome. Staff @ the dining facility on the property were also very personable, extending their warmth and hospitality. Special shout out to sweet Jusika with her morning and evening greetings. We also miss our chats with the wonderful Manoj and Rayhan. These three employees are hardworking, kind and sincere, made lasting impressions on our stay. The room was ocean front, clean and adequate. Nice lanai to sit and people watch minus the sand. The beach is literally steps away. On our departure, my faith in humanity, the person to person - face to face interaction that we have been losing post pandemic and technology had been restored.

The stay was just decent. If they had good customer service it would have been alot better. Had us sitting at at airport from 7am-11am. The only hotel with no rep on site at airport until 1030. When he got there he was chatting with others. There were a couple staff members that were nice but it was a maintenance guy. Room had a king and a twin bed. They only cleaned the king bed and often times took what was on that bed and threw it on that bed. Checked out and staff broke luggage on the way to airport.

The lobby is old and dark. Contrary to the picture, our Honeymoon Suite looks more like a family suite with an extra twin bed. Don’t bother spending extra as the room is simple and plain. Hotel did not respond to inquiry re pickup at the dock, granted we booked our own speedboat transfer to arrive earlier in the afternoon.

Tämä ei ollut luksusresortti vaan perushotelli, sellaiseksi ihan hyvä. Hyvä hiekkaranta oli ihan hotellin edessä ja hotellin oma ravintola oli hyvä ja kohtuuhintainen. Lähistöllä oli useita muitakin ravintoloita. Miinusta peltikatosta, jolle linnut tulivat hyppimään auringonnousun aikaan ja kolina herätti meidät joka aamu. Aamupala loppui jo yhdeksältä ja oli yleensä aika täynnä, kun sinne tuli puoli yhdeksän aikaan.

Good overall
The hotel is nice, but the breakfast wasn't great. The food they put out should have heaters under them to keep them warm. Not a big fan of cold baked beans on randomly burnt toast. Get a new toaster, keep your food warm and it would be fine. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

This was a top notch experience! Every great experience starts with the staff and Kaani’s staff is top tier! The attention to detail is unmatched! From the time you arrive at the airport, Kaani sends an employee to help navigate you through the speedboat process. When you arrive on Maafushi, more employees are waiting to take your luggage and guide you to the hotel. From there, it is like you have your own personal concierge. They check you in while you relax on the sofas. They arrange your excursions, if you are interested. They arrange your speedboat according to your flights. They give recommendations. Elena was magnificent!!! She really goes out of her way and it makes the experience extra special! Honestly, all of the staff is excellent and the property was exceptionally clean. My room was literally mopped everyday! I’m a germaphobe, so this was most important to me and made a lasting impression. Shout out to Jessica in the restaurant. Her personality really stood out! Again, that makes a big impression on guests. I now hope to return again in 2023 because of this excellent experience !

Really adore this hotel and the service staff, whom I have grown fond of. The beach is near the doorstep, making it a prime location. So easy to book many activities with any of the staff, and we could reach out to a specific staff anytime via WhatsApp (thanks, Tiger!). Food and snacks were also within and just outside the hotel. Got the best value from this accommodation because the experience was easy and seamless. I had to cancel my second stay at a luxury resort because of contact tracing measures but it was a blessing in disguise! We felt happy that we could extend our booking, stay longer and have more time to enjoy Maafushi.

Hotel muito confortável de vista incrível do mar
Muito bom o Kanni Gran. Quarto ótimo, confortável e com espetacular vista. Atendimento dos funcionarios e recepcionistas muito bom tambem, gentis e cordiais. Restaurante jantar com comidas muito tipo indianas e apimentadas, não boas para ocidentais. E comater mosquitos no refeitório necessário não se pode comer em sossego. No mais 10!

Kaani hotel is NOT a 4-star hotel. 2 stars hotel at best. Pros: Staff at the reception and waiters are amazing, friendly and helpful. Cons: Room is old, humid and dirty. Not a cleaning problem, the rooms need to be renovated. We found a COCKROACH at 2AM in the bathroom, the cockroach was coming from the wall frame which was in poor state. (See the picture). We tried to catch the cockroach (not what the type of activity I was planning on doing when coming to the Maldives) but it hid in the wall so we had to wait for it to get out of the wall frame. Disgusting. The walls are dirty, the facilities are worn out (see attached pictures) Breakfast & Dinner food are extremely poor (watery juices, recycled food everyday- they use the same food from the day before.) Also, please never eat any meat in Maafushi, it’s all disgusting, it seems frozen (no matter which restaurants you go to). Maafushi island is extremely dirty. It is a shame to see that hotels do not even care about investing back in the community & island. It seems like the owner just care about profiting to the max, making the biggest margins ever (giving you the same unfrozen food everyday) and not even care to clean up the island or help locals. It is a very cheap family hotel. All you’ll see are kids running around, screaming, crying etc. Don’t go there if you actually want to relax. Most and foremost, do not go there if you are a couple you will be so disappointed. Excursions are disappointing
