We chose this hotel because of the location, wecwere attending a wedding, close to the hotel. The room was compact with a good shower. We did hear noises from the rooms next to us and from outside.

No issues from us…went for a gig that got cancelled but went to see the city. Hotel is in nice location and deco is lovely too. Already booked for new gig date and looking forward to it already.

OK with coffee machines in hallways (not in room) but no decaff options, machine wasn't working at night (stuck in maintenance mode). UK is used to prosper tea and coffee - this is 1980s standard stuff. Room has noises coming from what sounded like pipes. TV doesn't work / tune in. Otherwise, decent for the price. Warm welcome. Good shower. Desk could actually imagine using (not the case in many hotels, where it feels drab and old-fashioned). Good to have a value hotel away from the Piccadilly craziness.

1 night stay
We did enjoy our stay, we only stayed the one night. However what bugged us was the lack of parking which we didn't know about until after booking and had to park a 10 mins walk away with cases and paid overnight in a NCP. The beds are very firm. Compact rooms are okay for what they are but no good if you like a little bathroom privacy.

Great hotel, the bar let it down
Good central location, great welcome by staff at the entrance. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable nights sleep. Only downside at 4pm on a Friday afternoon was no draft beers on tap at the bar downstairs and a choice of only 2 bottle alternatives. ( neither of which we liked) forced the group to go elsewhere for pre/theatre drinks.

It was so lovely to stay here! the location is good, all staffs were so kind, and the room condition was perfect - very big bed and clean and quite room. I would love to stay here next time too.

Very cramped…
Disappointed with the size of the room. Calling it a ‘king room’ is very misleading. We weren’t expecting a huge space, but we were expecting something a bit bigger. A lesson learned, glad there’s plenty of choice of hotels for when we return to Manchester. The service in the bar was poor, too. A thumbs down overall.

Very Average stay.
Yotel is excellently located, basically Inbetween everywhere you need to go within a short walking distance. Hotel its self is very quirky and trying to fit into that hipster vibe which doesn't always work eg bare concrete ceilings etc. Bed was comfy enough however lots of banging could be heard and it seemed the drain from the upstairs toilet came into our room, so could hear it everytime it was flushed. This is not luxury accomodation, it's just one of those hotels you stay for one night to sleep, if you spent more than one night you will struggle due to the size of the room, unfortunately I opted for a room with no window, I wouldn't do that again, wouldn't know if it was 2am or 2pm. I believe I paid £130 for the room for one night, this hotel is probably a £60/70 max per night hotel, but can charge what they want due to being centrally located. So all in all I'd say around a 6/10.

Great hotel but no gym
Brilliant hotel in a great location, with lovely staff, clean and comfy rooms, and excellent breakfast selection. Only negative was the lack of gym - it says on hotels.com that there’s a gym but in fact you can only book onto HIIT classes at certain times and there’s no gym you can just pop in and use whenever. So I’ll be looking for somewhere different next time.

Overall decent!
Overall really good, with just a few niggles. Wicked room, very clean and not claustrophobic considering it was windowless. Getting the lift was a bit of a nightmare so no stairs (except in emergencies) wasn’t ideal. Free coffee and amenities were decent so would recommend.
