Hi Grant, did you let reception know about your hot water issue? Sometimes we have issues with the heaters tripping in heavy rain or wind and a simple flick on is all it takes from our reception staff :)

You are right the staff here do there best to provide the friendliest customer service! We are happy you enjoyed your stay. Our hostel is located in a reasonably busy area so there is a fair amount of cars around the area.
