The front and side of building had garbage all over it The inside was not clean. We ended up not staying. The lights and bathroom vanity was broken. The whole place was filthy. The management was kind and pleasant. I ended up asking for a refund and did not stay.

The bathtub was really dirty with all kinds of stuff in it and they didnt have any housekeeping staff to clean it also i had to adk for new blankets for a childs bed that were clean and after the women making 3 trips to the room i still only got a comfortor and bed pad no fitted sheet or sheet for the bed so the child slept with me and didnt use the shower :( no one offered any discount or anything for the trouble , i worked hard to earn the money for the room i felt like it shouldnt have been work to stay in it .

Inefficient check in, there was some kind of problem and the police came, the pool was closed, breakfast was very limited. Won’t stay there again.

Rooms were nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Remodeling at check in and foyer area was somewhat unattractive. Difficulty understanding staff to to language barrier. Only 1 valet cart on premises.

No customer service I had to walk the property just to find someone and check in had to stand at front desk for hrs ringing bell and there was a line of ppl waiting as well who just threw they room keys on the desk bc nobody was there to check in and check out ppl . Also while we were sleeping a house keeping person walked into our room. Completely uncalled for

Maintenance is the lacking problem of this place. Also the maintenance guy rooms in the hotel and is the main problem of the smoking smell in the facility.. Front staff was great along with the main cleaning lady..

Room was clean but the hair dryer in room didn’t work. Front said didn’t know what to do. Could not help get another dryer.. The parking lot was filthy with many abandoned cars . The bathroom was old and shower handles were missing

It was an easy check in and manager was friendly. upon entering my Room I I noticed that the doorwall lock wasn't very Secure and security bar was broken, a little gray tape and I felt much better. Had the manager stop by about 20 minutes later due to issues with the T. V and after a valiant attempt for about 5 minutes he was also unable to get the t v to work. I was moved to an alternate room and other than not having waffles included with breakfast, I had no other issues and was satisfied with my stay. .

Got there and all though they were polite when I told them about my refrigerator being broken they just said they would but it in the computer did not try to find me another room the pool was closed the shower curtains had mold on it the heat didn’t work and the toilet paper holder was coming right out of the wall. And breakfast was not replenished after first serving and coffees I give this property 1 star but really It’s a total disappointment

I SLEPT IN MY CAR INSTEAD OF THE ROOM!! DISGUSTING ! Also the signs said no smoking and there was SMOKING going on in the next room. Do not stay here. They were clearly under a renovation but spent more on signs for it then doing anything about renovations. The desk person said I was getting a nrely renovated room and it was farthest from that. The tp holder fell out of the wall, Ceiling tiles missing, the chair for the desk fell apart, filthy grime in the bathroom, stained sheets and towels, some biohazard splatter on the ceiling, so much more. I SLEPT IN MY CAR BC I COULDNT BRING MYSELF TO SLEEP IN THIS ROOM. I had no where else to go and no more money for a different hotel. And now this review page won't let me upload my photos of the room conditions !

Always stay here when I shop the outlet mall. The only issue was my neighbors were extremely loud. I called the front desk and the manager came down and took care of it immediately😊. I will be back!!!

Very disappointing
We wondered why a Baymont Inn was reduced to such a low amount, but we were just doing an overnight. When we arrived, we saw they were remodeling, but painting wouldn’t be enough to make the upgrades this hotel needed. We had to wait in line for over 15 minutes, a HS ( or Middle School) football team was there and made things very loud & disruptive. The king size bed in the room was so warped on the side, I had to practically jump over the edge, bathroom tub switch was broken and the hairdryer didn’t work. Breakfast in the morning was a joke, we just got coffee. It wasn’t worth the bargain price per night we paid for it. :(……,

Baymont in Michigan City, IN is terrible!
Things broken and dirty in room. Not all amenities in room. Cockroaches present. Customer service staff was confused and couldn't understand what i was telli g them. Just a terrible place.

The place had a horrible smell, and it was dirty. The carpets were so gross. I didn’t even want to walk on them. We didn’t even stay more than 20 minutes and just left the hotel and did not go back. The hot tub and pool were shut down. The place was just really really disgusting.

Had to move from the first room. Had a hole in the wall and vent didnt work. 2nd room tv and refrigerator would not work and vent. 3rd room noisy refrigerator no racks in it. Tv would not work faulty wiring. Vent not working. No coffee makers in any of the 3 rooms. Told could not get a refund and contact expedia. Many complaints while at the desk during the room move and check out from other customers.

Great for the price
The entire place was under construction, so it wasn't much to look at. But the pool and hot tub were lovely, comfortable, and had good hours. I was a little bummed that the training room was closed, I had hoped to get some exercise in while I was staying there. Overall, I thought it was great for the price and a great place to stay on a budget. Can't wait to see what everything looks like once it has been rennovated!

There were fleas and mouse droppings in my room. I was relocated to another unit only to have gnats and an ant investation the very next morning. Was refunded $50 dollars for my troubles. Hotel is not clean and has serious bug issue. Do not recommend

We asked for room close to the pool she said ok then put us at the other end of building and upstairs ,fridge and tv didn’t work properly, told them we were there to swim and use hot tub we never got to it was closed the whole time we were there. We have stayed here often over 6 years we will no longer stay here again no one ever called us back on any problems
