Smoke alarm started chirping a dead battery at 4 AM, phone did not work to call the front desk, couldn’t go back to sleep after that-defeated the purpose of getting a hotel so we wouldn’t have to get up at 4am to make it to an appointment at 8 am when we live 3 hours away. Asked to have manager call us when they came in, which was supposed to be noon and they did not. Front desk staff did not care. Totally unacceptable and would not recommend staying here.

Loved being able to bring our cats, plus there were countless dining options for going out or delivery in. My only complaint is that this property isn’t soundproof at all. I could hear noise from every direction (above, below, all walls and doorways) about 20 hours out of the day, and posted quiet hours weren’t enforced by hotel staff. Probably a great choice unless you need quiet. :)

I like that this hotel is close to where my daughter lives. We appreciate that it is pet friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We like all the amenities esp. the fridge and microwave. We were however disappointed at the amount of dog poop on the lawn which was very unsanitary for my dogs to encounter. We always clean up after our pets. Why can't other pet owners do the same?

Rooms need a deep cleaning. Dirt and grime in all corners. Bathroom exhaust fan looks like it has never been cleaned in room 136. Behind toulet was disgusting. Pool area is over due of a good cleaning. Would have gave it a one star if not for the staff, they were polite and helpful.

I did not like that one morning as I was entering the lobby from the elevator a large dog was barking aggressively at me. I had to stop walking until the owner took the dog outside. But then she stopped just outside the door. I had to ask her to move so I could safely exit the hotel. I had my granddaughter with me on this trip. I am glad she did not ask to go alone down to the lobby for a treat and run into a dog like that. I am a dog person and felt threatened by this dog. Not all dogs should be allowed to stay.

Expedia gets 1 star for not having anyone available to resolve the problem. Both sides say we need to talk to other and Expedia walks away with all the money. They had no rooms available for the reservation that We booked on Expedia

This is a pet friendly establishment and we did see quite a few other pets, however this is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been in and it smelled nice and fresh at all times.

Staff was wonderful throughout my 4 weeks of staying here. Rooms were great, clean, and ready for use upon my arrival each week on Sunday. If there was an issue, maintance fixed it quickly. Housekeeping did a great job, they clean Wed, Sat or right after checkouts. As I was around during the week, Wednesday when I returned to the room it looked great, towels exchanged, coffee refilled, bed was totally redone up. Front desk staff was great to interact with as well. Breakfast was good, selection varied along with a few regular options. Overall my nights were quiet, there were kids and dogs in the hotel but I never really heard noise and the 10 pm quiet time was respected while I was there. I didn't stay weekends typically so that could be a difference. Elevatators on each end were not to bad of a wait but there were only 2 large carts and 2 small. Depending on when you check in, it could be hard to get one. Biggest complaint are the traffic lights getting to the hotel and the intersection after it. Lights take forever at the turn to the hotel and the turn before it. Used the pool only twice and the hottub was down at least once during my visits over the 4 weeks. Excersise room was decent too, two treadmills, bike and stair stepper along with some small free weights, ask for a towel at the desk. Fridges in room are just a fridge, no freezer. Felt the price was very fair and if in the area again would be staying here.

Person checking us in was wonderful. There was an issue in our room that we were notified about as we checked in. The pullout does not work. They offered a roll in bed, but it is only a twin, after I asked what size it would be. I have two kids and a twin bed for two children won’t work. I understand there was an issue with something, but there are other rooms or a compensation as I paid for a king and a queen, not a king and a twin. In the pool area, it was highly chlorinated. Around 8 pm a group of college students arrived drunk and started playing volleyball which kicked out the rest of the little kids from the pool. It’s not quiet hours yet, but I’m not overly confident that it will be quiet with the amount of running and screaming that is happening outside.

Good overall
Overall good stay. Very nice lobby area. Comfortable beds and nice breakfast. We used the pool, hot tub and gym and they were fine. We reserved a room that sleeps 7 people (we had 5) and there were only 4 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. I had to go to the desk and ask for more. Every time we went past the front desk there was no one readily available, so when checking in and when I had to ask for the towels etc. you would have to stand and wait for staff to come out. I noticed that for everyone. But the staff was pleasant when they were helping. It would be nice to have someone visible there most of the time.

Staff was always friendly and helpful. Rate was reasonable per night, room was pretty good. Pets that I did see were all very well behaved. I liked the rules of 10 pm to 7 am quiet hours and had no complaints on room noise. Room was cleaned during my stay and everything looked after they were done. Only issue I came across was the toilet rocked, asked for it to be fixed, looked to have been fixed, but still rocked. Did a follow up and hopefully the issue was resolved for the next customer. Will be back again for future stays. Great location as well, easy to get to main roads to get almost anywhere.
