Great location just a minute's walk away from the Gateway of India. There is a great new place just on the corner called Effingut Brewery, which had 11 beers and an international menu. Wifi and breakfast at the hotel were good. We arrived at midnight and checked out the next day at noon.
staff were friendly enough and there were lots of them! The porters who brought our bags up to the room were very anxious to show us where the closet in the room was, yet failed to notice a large puddle of water in the room, caused when the mini-fridge had been turned off. We mopped up the mess ourselves rather than call someone up to do it for us. The beds were comfy enough, but the bathroom was in rough shape. The toilet seat was almost ready to completely detach from the bowl, making each sit a scary adventure. The doorknob was broken yet still functional. The couple in the room next door were making a lot of noise, and there was considerable street noise in our room. Because we were exhausted, we slept through these things. Desk staff was kind enough to print out our boarding passes for us. For the price I would stay here again, but I would be unhappy if I had paid any more for this night's stay.
