Da Evitare assolutamente
Albergo dimesso, sporco e fatiscente. Con odore di cucina e fritto in ogni locale e stanza. Bagno in camera minuscolo. L'unica nota positiva è che a due passi dal lungomare, ma non può assolutamente essere considerato più che una stella. Peraltro senza ascensore. Per fortuno ci abbiamo passato solo una notte di transito. Da dimenticare

Buona soluzione per soggiorno di una notte tra un aereo e l'altro. In pieno centro vicino a ristoranti e negozi ed alla parte culturale di Nassau.

A very nice hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. I felt safe and it was quiet. It was very clean and I enjoyed the food in the restaurant on the hotel. Stores n shops within walking distance I would recommend this hotel and I look forward To staying here again :) Thank You!

I love that this hotel isn't a cookie-cutter chain hotel - the lobby and the rooms have individual decor and the entire place feels friendly. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and every one of them had a smile and a friendly greeting for me. The location is close to everything downtown but we had dinner in the hotel restaurant a couple of times because the food was really good. I would definitely stay here again!

Max, was a fun surprise. The building is an old piece of history of Nassau. A bit of up keep can keep it a jewel, such as windows that open, light bulbs that work etc.

We have stayed at the Towne Hotel for 3 consecutive years. Mainly because of the location and the staff. Definitely has character, however it is very old and neglected. The location is amazing however the place is falling apart. Bar closes early and is always out of something. This time it was ice so no blender or mixed drinks. The pool was filthy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The AC in the room made loud noises and dripped onto the floor all night. Such a shame the owner does not put money in to fixing this place up. Sadly, we will not be returning.

It’s a very old hotel that looks like it has never had any renovations. The antique windows allowall street noise to come into your room. Rat poop was in the bathroom hallway on main floor!

Acceptable property in the middle of town. Lots of poverty all around, but that is to be expected in the center of any urban environment. Restaurants and shops close by, but also keep in mind this is where the HUGE passenger ships dock and let out tens of thousands of drive-by-tourists for souvenir shopping. The rooms of the Towne Hotel are tiny and not designed for lounging about. The room and sheets were clean. The rooftop is open for sunbathing and rain-watching. You can find locally made souvenirs in the Straw Market (two blocks away), arts and crafts, uncluding wood carvings made from local Bahama wood. The Hotel itself, sidewalks, buildings, facilities, etc around the Towne Hotel are showing signs of heavy urban use, meaning run down and not new. I had a very tasty breakfast omelette in the Hotel, but be patient as it may take a while, but it arrived piping hot and delicious! I prefer more upscale lodging myself, but I also was not willing to pay the upscale price of $330 per night.

Great place - loved Max the 56-year-old parrot. Good value, friendly, and clean (lots of pleasant staff). Excellent bar (and Happy Hour) and good lunch/dinner. Great convenient locations 1.5 blocks from waterfront.

Has nice dinin and bar area with nice drink selection. Menu of food items was good. And it tastes good. Attitude of receptionist and waitress and all employees was excellent.

This property is walking distance to downtown. That’s the only good thing. Every thing else is below par and I would not recommend to anyone. If you are used to quality and enjoying nice amenities the minute you drive up to this place you will want to find something else, that’s how I felt, but I only needed to sleep for 2 nights and even that was a challenge for me. They need to refurbish ASAP. It’s not worth more than $50 a night and that’s being generous.

We had originally planned on staying at an Airbnb but didn’t realize how far away we were from the main tourist attractions and what part of the city we were so when we arrived here we were so happy! The staff was welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. They have a parrot Max that they told us has been there since the 90s, was able to get some pets in but he warning he doesn’t like the men very much. The food and happy hour was great as well! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Nassau. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us!

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel en décembre 2023 pour 1 nuit. C'est un bel hôtel, la décoration est hors du commun, singulière. La chambre et la salle de bain sont vieillottes mais confortables. L'hôtel est bien situé. On peut aller à pied dans le centre ville. Le petit déjeuner est simple. Café, thé, pain de mie, œuf dur, saucisson, orange
