locazione strategica in centro che permette di raggiungere facilmente ogni punto di interesse di manhattan inclusi molti alimentari e posti di ristoro. L'hotel ha un personale alla reception disponibile e gentile, le camere vengono fatte ogni giono con cura ed anche le hosekeeper sono molto gentili. La camera era veramente spaziosa, con frigo-bar, macchina per il caffè, ferro da stiro e supporto per lo stiro ripiegabile, stampelle in buona quantità, cassetta di sicurezza. Da migliorare l'illuminazione generale con una lampada che serva tutta la camera e le manopole della doccia non proprio user-friendly al primo acchitto.

Cortesia e disponibilità personale, pulizia, posizione ottimi. Hotel verticale, camere retrohotel (due su tre x piano) rumorose e tristi per presenza dei motori di condizionamento e muri ciechi dei palazzi limitrofi.

Posizione ottima per visitare New York a piedi ! Staff gentilissimo e disponibilissimo . L’unica pecca è stata la vista dalla camera purtroppo avevamo una camera ai piani bassi e davanti la finestra c era una impalcatura che non ci permetteva di vedere bene la città ! Per il resto tutto bellissimo ci torneremo sicuramente ☺️

Nice stay at Gotham. It is close to public transportation and many NYC sites. My favorite part is that there are public balconies to use.

It's only a few blocks away from Times Square but the street the Gotham is in has always been quiet. The people who work there are always welcoming and pleasant . The rooms are nice, pretty big and have always been clean. The rainfall showerhead was amazing. The private balconies are a great place to wind down after a day walking around NYC. They also give you $10 in minibar credit.

Where do I start? First, the rooms were terribly nosey with street noise!! They need to upgrade street side rooms with better insulating windows. Next, the front desk de-activated our room keys 1/2 thru our trip bc they thought more than 2 ppl were staying in our room. There was NEVER more than 2 ppl EVER in our room. My parents had their own room a few stories up. Finally, room service never refilled toiletries/coffee unless we asked and only one washcloth was provided per day. Glad we are leaving today! A

As for the keys, they can get cancelled out sometimes if they are too close to credit cards or phones. As for the coffee and toiletries, that is all per request which is the policy of the hotel. I have stayed here several times before and it has been good, however on my recent trip I was treated rudely at check in and when I got to my room there were a lot of issues, including a half empty bottle of water on the table. The cleaning is at a very low level and the staff act like they are doing you a favor by listening to you. This was last and final visit to Gotham.

stayed here for a week on business and it felt like a home away from home. the room was super comfy, the shower had both a rain shower head and a hand held sprayer, and the staff was amazingly accommodating. I was helped by Farzana, Surban and Ilda multiple times, and they were always incredibly friendly and helpful, never making me feel like my requests were too big or troublesome. They even went the extra mile and arranged to have a fan sent to my room for extra white noise! Every single person I interacted with was great. The hotel was also smaller, with I think only 3/4 rooms per floor making it feel more intimate and private. Definitely recommend for a long term NYC stay! I’ll miss the staff at Gotham Hotel!

Great one night stay
Quick but amazing stay at Gotham. Every member of the front desk we met was friendly and pleasant. Clean and modern room and comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

Its smack in the middle of Manhattan so we could just walk to many landmarks. Grand central, Empire state bldg Rockefeller center, times square etc. 2 Things that weren't the best, the bed wasn't very comfortable and a lot of street traffic noise. Other than that I would definitely recommend to stay here! We will for sure!

Good location and value
This place is nice to stay at. The Location is good to Grand Central and the midtown area. Nice staff. The Room was a good size for Manhattan and for the price. The mattress is more firm than I am used to or would have desired but for two nights it was fine.

Location, location, location.
For a family of three, having an option to stay together in one room was key. By NYC standards, the room was "roomy," the staff was responsive, and we enjoyed our stay. Don't count on lots of amenities like some of the larger hotels offer, but the location cannot be beat. Steps from Fifth Avenue and you are in the thick of it.
