“Pretty pub accommodation in a lovely village”

“Very comfortable room. Staff really pleasant and helpful. We had an early start and they put a light breakfast in our fridge for us. Next to a busy road but no noise in the room. Very reasonable price too. ”

“Lovely property. Very quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast choices. Comfortable, clean room with tea, coffee etc, fridge and microwave. Let down by the bathroom - a poor design - the floor flooded each time we used the shower, no matter how careful we were. ( Nothing the owners could do about this, but unfortunately we were woken at 5.30am each morning by the early risers with heavy feet in the room above ours. We’d ask for an upstairs room if we stayed again). ”

“A lovely spot on the river. Room was perfect, staff were very friendly, food and drink was superb. Not far from the station at Wroxham where we parked for free and took the train for a day in Sheringham.”

“Excellent experience, host Sue and Tony, couldn't do enough for you, really nice couple. Room we stayed in was a double with ensuite facilities, very clean and comfortable. Stayed 3 nights, price included breakfast and parking permit. Breakfast was excellent, all sorts, cereal, cooked breakfast, continental, etc. Easy walking distance to beach and shops. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

“The room was clesn and comfortable, housekeeping staff were very helpful especially helpful with my wife who was a bit off colour. The general quslity of catering was better than our last. Our last day breakfadt was goid however consistency needs to be maintained. Front of house staff work very hard, especially Nial, & Jenny. As a former auditor i would suggest a visit by a snag fixer and this place would be cracking. Small changes, massive differences.”

“Lovely stay at the Wellesley. Good value for a basic hotel. Nice comfortable room. Welcome tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice big towels (can't stand the silly little ones you get in some places). Good position away from the main Great Yarmouth area but very easy walk to get there (10 minutes slow walk).Only place I've stayed in where you can't have food or alcohol in the room but rules is rules and i saw that from reading reviews before we booked so happy to conform. Would stay again. Only...
