“Although we did spend a bit more on a room in the castle it was worth every penny The room was large and spotless and all of the service we received was excellent from every member of the staff nothing was ever to much trouble and they were always on hand to help The food was excellent quality and well cooked It’s set in beautiful grounds and I would not hesitate to book again If you feel like treating yourself book a few days at this hotel you won’t be disappointed ”

“The building is unique and was a great adventure for the family staying in our own mini castle - but comfortable and homely. Comfy beds quiet location so all slept like logs. Instructions for the oven and hob would have been helpful. Great base for a relaxing getaway within easy reach of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Alnwick castles and Northumberlands beaches and wild open spaces”
