“We spent two nights here and we were comfortable even though the room was basic. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely. There’s a steep climb back home after going down to the main street, so you will give your calves a good stretch, but it’s worth it for the view of Little Adam’s Peak that you get in the morning. Overall a very good choice of accommodation in a small, quiet guesthouse. ”

He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. “la struttura è difficile da raggiungere con mezzi di trasporto perchè si trova immersa nelle colline di Ella. in realtà la fatica per raggiungerla è ripagata dallo spettacolo della vista che si può godere dalla sua terrazza. La colazione è molto buona e puntuale.”

“L'hotel è ben localizzato, poche centinaia di metri dalla strada centrale di Ella. Ha in pregio di avere anche delle stanze a disposizione per i drivers (cosa non comune in zona). Per il resto purtroppo ci sono tante cose da migliorare: la stradina per arrivarci è dissestata, la pulizia non è accurata, il wifi non funziona bene, la corrente elettrica non è stabile, non ci sono condizionatori né attrezzatura per il freddo (ho dovuto dormire vestita con il pile perchè la temperatura di notte...

“This stay is very close walk to/from the train station with plenty of food options. This was a perfect place to have a quick stay before heading in to Yala. This family business is very charming and extremely friendly! They were very accommodating during our stay and even packed us breakfast when we had a quick morning check out! ”

“Loved the decor of this place which was why we chose it . Didn’t disappoint. Really comfy bed with massive duvet to keep warm under. Loved having the separate lounge area as well. Efficient hot water systems in place for the shower and sink. Would have preferred a more traditional Sri Lankan breakfast but cannot complain about what was provided. ”

“The biggest problem with this hotell was to find it. Our taxidriver asked tuc-tuc-drivers and lokal people, and no one knew the location of the hotel. They had'nt even heard of it. We drow around for half an hour. No signs along the road, not even when we were near by. When we walked back after dinner in the town, there where no lightening near by so that we could be sure to walk the right way. The room was clean, but we missed a small table beside the bed. There were no aircon or heating, so...

“I normally don’t write a reviews but this was the worst accommodation so I decided to write. I’m traveling all around Asia and this was the most stressful experience I’ve ever had in my life. First of all, room is not clean at all, towels smells awful ( it’s like someone’s already use it before), many ants climbing up on bed, and the worst thing is so many species of insects. We couldn’t sleep because of the many insects and mosquitoes. You can find much more better accommodation with this...

“The room was huge and the facility was very basic. The guy at the reception was very kind to show me the short cut to the town. Wi-Fi worked well. Warm water was available but I had to bath from tap as water pressure from showerhead was too weak. It is because I stayed during the rainy days, I felt the room damp and bed little smelly...Considering the price and location, I could not ask for more.”
