Lovely quite family stay
Lovely property in a beautiful quite location. The property had everything you needed. Our host Julie was welcoming and made a gorgeous afternoon tea. Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend with Children and Dog. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful view from a lovely property
This was our 2nd visit and we had started to wonder if maybe we’d just got caught up in holiday fever and rebooked in haste but as soon as we drove up the hill we remembered the magic! Julie is a fabulous host, nothing is too much trouble and the addition of an EV car charger was a super bonus. She has also added shower trays after I had mentioned them last time and there is now a little notebook for guests to comment if there are any suggestions for additions. The weather was glorious and the hot tub and view are the icing on the cake. We have already booked for next year!

Lovely family break.
The cottage was as described and depicted. It was cosy and comfortable with everything you would need. Beds were really comfortable, had good sleeps. The hot tub was incredible, amazing views and a real luxury.

Beautiful stay
Lovely countryside place if you're needing a break away from the city, but still only a short drive away from Otley town centre with lots to do there and plenty of places for walks! we will 100% be booking again and have already sent the links to friends!

A Fabulous break away
We had a wonderful 2 night stay, Julie was an amazing host and answered all my questions about the working dairy farm. Julie let us work around the farm and see the cows and the calves. Such a beautiful setting and so peaceful. We can’t wait to return.

What a view
Lovely place to stay, bet its gorgeous in summer. Julie is lovely and helpful without being intrusive. Nice touch with cakes on arrival. Nice location and the beds are sooo comfy. Huge garden for the dogs to run around too. Kitchen is well equipped and modern bathrooms with walk in showers. We didn't use the hot tub with having a baby with us and the dogs would have wanted to get in lol. Highly recommend and the Sunday lunch at the Queens head was gorgeous and dog friendly too.

Lovely property
A lovely property with beautiful views of sun rise and sunset. The hot tub was amazing, even on a cold January (-3) evening. Warm welcome by Julie, easily contactable but left on our own. Bed was comfy, kitchen ideal and essentials available including the creamiest milk, eggs and cakes already in the cottage for us. Dishwasher, washing machine available for longer stays and both bedrooms had en-suites which seemed new. A nice drive away from Otley and Harrogate, out of the way enough for privacy and peace but local enough to shops etc. Will definitely book again.

A lovely cottage
A well equipped cottage with comfy beds. Beautiful views. Lovely hot tub. Julie was very helpful and even provided home made cakes and fresh milk. Would highly recommend we will definitely come back.

Excellent, will definitely be returning.
We stayed in the cow shed and the cottage was excellent, everything you needed was provided, including milk from the cows on the farm and cakes! Dressing gowns for when using the hot tub and towels. The views from the hot tub were amazing. We were able to watch the fireworks in the distance. We have already decided to be returning! Definitely will recommend.

Lovely hideaway
Lovely cottage, perfect for R&R and walks out into the country, yet close enough to Otley and Harrogate - just a short drive away. The cottage was perfect and had everything we all needed, yet Julie was always on hand if needed. Lovely cottage, clean and tidy with the jacuzzi being an absolute gem! Thank you Julie.

Lovely break away
Lovely break away, nice and peaceful with beautiful views. Check in process was sketchy as was waiting for an hour and 20 mins before we got seen, unsure if we could just go into the property. Just sat in the car waiting. Property was lovely and clean, everything at hand if we needed it, hot tub was perfect for the views. The baby calfs outside the property were adorable, just wish we could of seen more of the farm, would of made it so perfect! Only issue we had aswell as the check in, was no cold water running at night, so unable to flush toilets or fill up my dogs water bowl. Other than that absolutely perfect. Thank you

Rolling hills, peace and quiet and a beautiful cottage!
We were greeted on arrival by Julie and 2 of the farm dogs and welcomed into the cottage with cake and fresh milk. Throughout the stay Julie was on hand and we had some great conversations but she didn't intrude. All basics were supplied including a cute selection of toilettries. The kitchen was really well equipped and there was a selection of games which were needed as we had some unexpected Yorkshire snow. The view from the cottage is awesome and sitting in the hot tub listening to the owls made it even better. We loved it here and have already booked for next year. The wifi signal isn't great and the tele is small BUT we didn't need either as sometimes you just have to lift your head and look at what is around you!

Beautiful location
The cottage is just beautiful, the views are amazing. Even though we didn’t go on the best weekend ( due to weather ) it was still great. The kids love the hot tub, and the added little touches of fresh milk and eggs and little cakes on arrival.

Victoria and jans weekend break
I took my friend away for a birthday weekend and we had a fab time . We arrived to cakes made by Julie which were delicious. The cottage was beautiful the beds were so comfy. Julie even popped round with a bottle of fix for my friends birthday and to top our weekend off Julie gave us a tour of the farm. The calf’s were adorable. We will certainly be back

Very relaxed stay
We stayed here for 4 nights.. just wasn't long enough.. the cottage is spotlessly clean and the most comfy bed I've slept in!..Julie the host was lovely and on hand if you need anything and even took the time to show us round her farm which was fascinating! The walks on the doorstep are beautiful too, all in all this place is just perfect. Thank you Julie for everything

Great find
A fantastic cottage in a great location. Clean, well equipped and comfy furnishings. We arrived to lovely home made cakes and fresh milk direct from the dairy herd! Great value for money and dog friendly too.

What a gem
From arriving on the Monday to leaving on the Friday, everything was just perfect. Julie met us at the property on arrival having already left cakes, eggs and milk in the property. The cakes were absolutely delicious. The accommodation is perfect, two great bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, two good sized bedrooms and very comfortable beds. The hot tub has got spectacular views and is cleaned daily. The location is ideal for walking, Harrogate, York, Leeds and Skipton. We didn’t sample any of the eateries, the nearest appeared to be a pub about 4 miles away. We will return at some point in the future. Many thanks to Julie for providing such a wonderful place to get away to.

Brilliant
Julie was lovely and left us to our own devices but was on hand if we needed anything. The cottage and the back drop was beautiful. Our kids loved the hot tub. You wont be disappointed if you stop. Gorgeous place. We had a big Kestrel circling round us every day we stopped which me and my son loved to watch. Its located perfectly for Harrogate, Otley, Ilkley and Skipton. We visited them all and were great. Thanks Julie. 😊

Just PERFECT
Wish we had found this little gem years ago. Just perfect. Our host, Julie, couldn't have done more to make our holiday more enjoyable. Cottage was most comfortable we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a few . Didn't use the hot tub because the weather was so cold but Julie tended to it every day. Stunning views, hard to look away from the dual aspect windows. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said, we will be back. Thank you Julie for the cakes and FRESH milk

Short birthday break
Couldn't have asked for a nicer, homely cottage to spend a couple if days in, away from everything that's going on in the world at the moment. It was like home from home, everything you could want or expect and probably that little bit more. There was fresh milk in the fridge, tea, coffee sugar, and eggs in a basket, even a very nice coffee machine with capsules! We didn't need to disturb julie for anything it was all thought out perfectly. The hot tub was amazing, our first night was cold and chilly so we got a chance to use it but not so lucky on our second night. All in all a very lovely experience and will most definitely stay here again, have already shared the details to friends and family. Thanks julie for a wonderful birthday getaway x

Gorgeous Little Break
This was just what we needed, what a beautiful location near Ilkley, Otley and Harrogate! Julie was outstanding, really friendly and Tammy the little doggo was such a cute visitor too! Nothing was too much trouble and there was everything you could possibly want, the hot tub was perfect and what an amazing view!! There was fresh milk, eggs and little cakes on arrival which was a lovely touch. Thanks so much for having us, we have recommended to so many people who have asked us and we will definitely be back!!
