The experience in the heated pools and hot tubs was out of this world amazing. The views were stunning. The water perfection. The rooms are older but clean and beds are comfy. In all honesty, the rooms are just for sleeping in, the real wonder is just outside- hot tubs, steam room, heated pool, walking distance to downtown. Absolutely magical.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the pools felt so nice however they did have dirty covers on them that we pulled to the side. Also, I had a major migraine where I could barely walk and my friend went to get breakfast for me and was told she couldn’t take food to go so that was very upsetting.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the pool covers and will address this issue promptly to ensure a more enjoyable experience for all our guests. However it is important to keep in mind that our natural hot springs are all located outdoors and that sometimes mother nature takes over and we do get windy or inclement weather. Regarding the breakfast buffet, I understand your frustration with our no to-go policy. Our intention behind this policy is to maintain the quality and freshness of our food offerings for guests dining in. However, we recognize that there are circumstances, such as health concerns or unexpected migraines, where flexibility is warranted.All guest feedback is valuable in helping us improve our services, and we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

It's a Saturday, we got early check in which was nice. The hot springs closes at 10 which is too early on a weekend. The upstairs neighbor came down and complained because we were too loud while playing a board game (aggravation). Then I noticed I was charged on two different cards for the same room. The rooms were not tbe greatest. Old and outdated with thin walls.

Good sunday morning, our pools do close at 10 7days a week during the winter season, that time does change to 1030 during the summer months. Yes, unfortunately we did have a mistake made with your cards at check in that was quickly corrected the moment you brought it to our attention when you came to the front desk to check out this morning.

I would have loved the property had there been different owners and staff. Hotel is wonderful. very pretty nice. Set up convenient smoking area. Staff was horribly rude when we checked in. We paid through Expedia. We had a receipt that said paid showing we’d pay 60 at the property.. they argued and argued that we were not paid and stated that they don’t like Expedia they don’t like people booking with Expedia. They don’t recommend anybody to use Expedia book them.. then they tried to collect say already paid. Stay a second time… they provided inconvenient kiosks at the front door to check you in. My chip reader wouldn’t read on the card machine and they were telling us we weren’t paid so we turned to leave.. a few mins later they called us back not to apologize, but to tell us everything was fine with our reservation to come back and we only have to pay the 60. Rooms were great, however, they charge you for water at Hot Springs. They charge you for the use of the robe and their towels.. then we watched the unthinkable. We watched another guest walk up to the pool right after we were turned away. We were told in a very nasty way that pool was closed., after we walked away, another guest walked up, and we proceeded to watch the “manager”, start yelling and cussing and screaming at the guest, who walked up after us. She yelled at him so bad I was going to call the cops myself.. I was truly concerned for the guest. The whole front desk staff was all rude.

It is unfortunate that this review is being left Jan 2024 when you're stay with us was Aug 12 of 2023, we would hope that when a guest feels as strongly as you do about their stay that they would have reached out immediately regarding a situation such as you have described.

The check-in kiosk was impersonal and awkward. Since we still had to go to the check-in counter before we could go to the room I really don't understand why the person at the counter couldn't have entered the information. Also I have yet to receive an itemized bill from the resort, but my credit card has been billed. Their implementation of online/internet hospitality leaves a lot to be desired.

We did look into where your folio was sent and unfortunately Travelocity did not provide us with your personal email address, only one for them. I've been to this property several times for a reason. I love the views, the rooms are reasonable considering the pool access you get and most of the staff is great. There are some grumpy ones but it's probably from dealing with rude vacationers. They have a lot of remodels in the future and if the pool is any indication of how it will look we will definitely be back.

This is Ouray, so it is definitely unique and beautiful. However, this hotel is lacking in many areas considering the price. I paid $700 for a 2-night stay with one pet. Our toilet didn't flush, we had no remote for the tv, and no tissue in the Kleenex box. They were able to fix all but the toilet. This hotel is centered around their hot springs, and they provide 2 robes to wear to the pools. However, the robes are $5 each (not complimentary). The small refrigerator in the room was warm and had one water bottle provided for $2. I love Ouray and will be back, just not sure Twin Peaks is worth the money it costs to stay there. It is rustic and a bit run down. They had two Jacuzzi's outside of our area that were taped off for repairs? They do have an in house restaurant that makes ordering to go or room service easy.

Loved the hot tubs. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Ate at the restaurant on site and food was also good. We would definitely stay there again.

Very good stay
It's expensive but the hotel is generally nice. Came with hot springs and breakfast (included in my rate but not for everyone). Our balcony was next to the creek but was some walk from the hot springs. Buffet breakfast ($15 if not included in the room rate) was very good with lots of options and great sitting area. Front desk was friendly too.

The breakfast buffet and pizzas were wonderful! As were the many hot spring pools! The staff were super nice. Only downsides were the expense taxes/fees, the family with a toddler in the room above us were very noisy, and there were no microwaves in the rooms.

All the staff we worked with were very friendly and helpful. Whenever we had questions they had good immediate resonsies that answered our questions. After a lot of hiking sitting in the hot tubs and swimming in the pools was refreshing. I forgot my water bottle at the pool and told the gal that I would pick up in the morning and before i knew it she was at the door and returned it to me. She went out of her way to be helpful. awesome person. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Some really creative dishes, I liked everything. It was worth every penny. The bartender that served us the first night we were their was a great guy. Made recommendations on beer and appetizers and both were a hit. Wished we lived in Colorado so we could go there more often. Had a great time. Should have stayed an extra day. Group hug to all the staff.
