We got a special offer for this hotel, which was conveniently located next door from the Oxford Examination Rooms in the city center. It was very easy to arrive, and reception was friendly. The staff was very nice and helpful, really one of the best things of the hotel. Rooms are distributed in two wings, one with a lift, the other one without. Ours was in the lift-less wing, on the 3rd (top) floor. We were offered help to get our things into the room, which we kindly rejected as we had light luggage only. The room was nice and warm, but not very big, and it seemed a little crowded with our two small trolleys. The worst thing of it all was the toilet: the flush did not work as well as it would be expected, and it required some practice to learn the trick. Other people staying at the same hotel had the same problem, so this was not an isolated case, unfortunately. The room had some niceties such as trouser press and an iron with board, which worked perfectly. The breakfast bouffet, included in our reservation, was excellent.
