Dear mr Marlon, thank you for your review. The room you booked had a firm mattress, which other guest just love over our other plush mattress. That is the reason we offered you our room with a softer mattress. From experience I may share with you, that neither mattress (firm nor plush) is loved by all guests, it is a personal preference. And regarding paying for everything, this is the case in every hotel (of commercial establishment) you will go for any service. Yes, even bottled water is payed for. The difference with our hotel is that we do not calculated the "free" or "courtesy" drinks in your room bill, for drinks you did not even drink. We keep those "hidden" costs away from your room bill, unless you specifically ask for something, which will then be billed to your room. PS the coffee in your room is "free", daily 1 cup per person.

Dear sir/madam, we have firm and medium/soft mattresses. Due to limited availability, we do not always have the option to offer other mattress hardness choices. Some guest find our firm mattress perfect! And others sleep like a baby on the softer mattresses. We have learned that there is no 1 mattress hardness for everyone. Hope you try our other soft mattress soon.

Beste,Dank voor uw tijd om uw ervaring te delen. Zoals aan u vermeld tijdens uw check-in, waren wij die dag inderdaad bezig met een grote reguliere schoonmaak. Nogmaals onze excuses voor het ongemak die u heeft ondervonden. Onze publieke en gast-ruimtes worden dagelijks onderhouden, dus van achterstallige schoonmaak is geen sprake. Ons hotel heeft inderdaad geen bar en lift, wellicht dat u dit over het hoofd heeft gezien tijdens het boeken? Wij hebben wel degelijk room service, met een beperkt aanbod. Wij faciliteren onze gasten bij het bestellen van verschillende cuisines / restaurants, welke wij met alle liefde voor u op de kamer of in ons restaurant ruimte serveren. Wat betreft eventuele insecten die u zou tegenkomen: ondanks onze preventieve aanpak, om de insecten de deur uit te houden, is het goed te realiseren dat wij ons in een tropisch klimaat bevinden waar insecten niet te vermijden zijn. Desondanks komen we ze zelf ook liever niet tegen. In elk geval willen wij u danken voor uw verblijf.
