adatto ad ogni tipo di turista e vacanziera
Un albergo con ogni confort vicino al mare sia a piedi che con navetta (puntuale) gentilezza e professionalità ai massimi livelli.Pulito e curato in ogni angolo.Ben frequentato e una colazione si livello e qualità superiore.Direi una piacevolissima sorpresa e sicuramente ci torneremo. Da consigliare assolutamente.

Le stanze non sono insonorizzate e pertanto, nonostante l'hotel si trova in un luoo incantevolmente tranquillo, i vicini bastano che parlano, fuori orario, danno tanto ma tanto fastidio.

Great place and would recommend but a few issues
I will start with the cons before I get into what we enjoyed. First off we didn't get the room we booked. I booked a pool side room but was given sea view room. When I went to ask about it the blonde lady (I will not mention her name) tried to cover it up after I showed her my itinerary. She was fairly rude about it and just kept saying we upgraded you to sea view room. But I kept telling her I booked pool side and if I wanted sea view I would have booked sea view. Anyway I didn't want to make a big deal so I just left it as it was. Obviously they over booked and tried to cover it up. If they just told us it was over booked I wouldnt have mentioned it in my review. The blonde lady is not fit to be a receptionist she was rude to us and would never say Hi unless you did first and also wouldn't make eye contact. All the other staff was great including the maintenance. Always said Hi and made you feel welcomed. Place was nice (a bit dated but clean) and pool was great! Staff working at the pool were very nice and hard workers, they would never stop.

Simply excellent! Beginning with check-in, to quality of room. Overall beautiful hotel in nice location. Unexpected benefit was the beach access card providing a free beach umbrella as well as a towel. I would have liked to stay longer but there was no availability.

O quarto estava muito quente, o ar condicionado nao diminuia a temperatura. Ao solicitar providencias fomos muito mal atendidos. O guarda sol deveria estar incluido no preço ou pelo menos ter um desconto. Muito caro. O cafe da manha era regular.

Nice hotel-not a great location or shuttle service
This hotel is well kept, clean, beautiful pool area and the breakfast is very nice. The staff is cordial. This hotel offers a shuttle service that needs to be improved to a more frequent schedule. It was quite inadequate for the amount of guests occupying the hotel. We often had to wait for the shuttle to do a first run and come back to pick us up cause it only fit about 10 people. It is not located in Tropea and the reserved beach area is not Tropea beach, it is actually Shark Bay in Parghelia. Tropea beach is a 25 minute walk. If you want to visit Tropea village and it's beach, I would recommend to stay at a hotel in Tropea village.

sehr schönes und ruhiges Apartmenthotel
Das Apartmenthotel liegt leicht versteckt, aber sobald man die Anlage betritt, fühlt man sich sofort sehr wohl. Alles ist sauber und der Pool und der Garten sehen sehr gepflegt aus. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend. Schlafzimmer, Bad und eine kleine Küchenzeile. ZUm Kochen und Essen ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind ein bisschen dunkel, was aber nicht schlimm ist, da wir einen sehr großen überdachten Balkon hatten, der im Prinzip wie ein weiteres Zimmer ist. Wir waren damit sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und herzlich.

Lovely hotel and staff very helpful. The down fall for us was that there is very limited things to do and you had to get a taxi or the shuttle to get any where if you do not have transport which we did not have. the food at the hotel was excellent and it was lovely to be able to sit outside and have Breakfast every morning. We did not use the private beach as it is quite a walk to and when you have poor mobility it was not ideal. The shuttle to the beach left at 9-15am each morning and did not pick up until 5-15pm and to walk back it is very hilly.

Nice view from terrace to Tropea, Beach and pool.
Nice pool with pool bar and bathroom master, so also very great with children. The way to the beach is exhausting, but there is a shuttle, but only in the morning and mittday. The breakfast is great, lots of fruit, but also a lot of cakes. We ate the menu on the day of arrival, which was recommended to us, which cost 40 € and was very disappointed. Have never seen such many main courses go back. We did not eat there again. The rooms are ok, if you like very hard beds and pillows. It is badly sound, the toilet flushing of the overlying Appartment went directly through the bedroom, the terrace in front of the room very large but tiled, which is quite noisy when at night chairs are moved. It is cleaned every day and made beds.

Schönes Hotel, Top-Service = Toller Urlaub
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Tirreno sehr genossen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals sowie die Sauberkeit der gesamten Anlage. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn man, wie wir keine Halbpension gebucht hat. Es ist sehr gut und ist auch preislich mit den Restaurants in der Umgebung vergleichbar. Fußläufig sind in Parghelia ebenfalls gute Restaurants zu finden. Der kostenlose Hotel-Shuttle-Service nach Tropea ist auch hervorragend. Dort kann man dann shoppen, flanieren und natürlich auch in verschiedensten Restaurants essen. Wir empfehlen auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen, da alle andere Ausflugsziele doch weiter weg sind. Rundherum eines der empfehlenswertesten Hotels, in denen wir bisher waren.

A hotel that offers more than expected!
We were very pleased with our stay at the Hotel Tirreno, the staff was very hospitable and informative about the area, the hotel offered more amenities than what we had expected. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced in all our trips to Italy over the years. The restaurant food was excellent and the prices were very affordable.

Great family-run hotel!
We just came back from our honeymoon; a 10 day stay at this wonderful, family run hotel. And we are so pleased with our choice!!! We stayed in a junior suite w/sea view. The room standard was good. There was a minibar, en extra bed in addition to the double bed, adjustable aircondition, a water boiler and coffe/tea, a large closet, a bathroom with a shower and a terrace with an awning, a table/chairs. The room, in addition to the rest of the hotel, dining area and pool area, was incredibly clean! The room was cleaned every morning, and every night during dinner the cleaning personell stopped by again to empty litter bins, adjust linen if it was folded and put a snack on your pillow :) The beach is a 15 min walk along a lightly trafficked road with no sidewalk OR you can take the free hotel shuttle bus that leaves every other hour from the hotel. The town of Tropea is a 30 min walk along the same road, with a very steep stair at the end up to the city. The hotel runs a shuttle in the evening. What truly makes this a 4 star hotel is the wonderful people working here! They always greet you with a smile, even when they're not in their uniform. Stephania, the hotel manager, wrote us a beautiful letter, wishing us a magic honeymoon, and gave us a very nice bottle of wine, both of which was in our room upon arrival. When departing she gave us a beautiful ceramic souvenir to remember them by. The people who work here are truly amazing! :)

The hotel was OK, the internet was extremely poor, and although they seem to have had the same complaints from several customers, don't seem to do anything about it. The location is not ideal, as it is not within walking distance of anything.

Internet is poor in all the area due is not present the optical cable yet but only ADSL with 7MB/Sec: our front desk explained you that with this internet speed of course going to be really slow when all Guests get connected. Sehr schöne einfache Anlage nähe am Meer , sauber und sehr freundliche Angestellte und immer bereit für ein lächeln und Informationen .Leckeres Essen im eignen Restaurant alles frisch. Fint och mysigt hotell för en lugn semester
Mycket lugn och trevlig anläggning. Litet och familjärt med väldigt bra bemötande av personalen. God frukost i mysig miljö. Poolområdet höll hög standard, rent och fint. Hotellet ligger en bit utanför Tropea men hotellet erbjuder en transportservice fyra gånger per dag.

Couldn't be more helpful
Lovely hotel, pretty grounds, good beach nearby, but their biggest asset is their staff. Willing to go that bit extra. The hotel shuttle bus was a boon, and all the drivers special, taking our party to and from a celebration dinner in Tropea, and to the church for a wedding, and taking my partner and I to catch our train. Wonderful.

My favorite place in all the world
This was our second visit to Hotel Tirreno and we could not have been happier with our stay. We were given a lovely room with a beautiful balcony and view. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and always available to help. We enjoyed the breakfasts very much,and the grounds and pool were lovely, peaceful and quiet. A short walk down the hill is the beautiful beach and chairs are provided. There is also a shuttle service to Tropea offered by the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel and look forward to returning again in the future.

Our 2-night stay here was OK. We were unfortunately placed on the bottom floor, so no sea views. Quite a hike to the beach too, but they do have periodic shuttles. Room was comfortable and very clean though - and quite spacious!

Sehr schönes Hotel in Strandnähe
Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel, sehr suber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Mit dem shuttlebus wird man zum Meer (kann man auch laufen) oder in die Stadt Tropea (am Abend) gefahren und auch wieder abgeholt. Die Sonnenliegen, ein Sonnenschirm und Handtücher für den Strandbesuch sind im Preis mit drin. Das Frühstück hat eine sehr gute Auswahl, an allem was das Herz begehrt. Man kann auch, wenn nicht mitgebucht, am Abend im Hotelrestaurant essen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch der Poll war sehr schön und auch das Wasser immer sauber und klar.

Hotel Tirreno would be a good place for young couples with children who enjoy the apartment type. Accommodation is very basic, not even close to the North American 3 stars...and the walls are paper thin, so you hear everything your neighbors are doing....property is clean and the pool is nice. The location is fine if you have a car....beautiful Tropea is just a 5 minute drive....

I was in Hotel Tirreno for 2 days in early May. Great breakfast, the rooms are a little bit 1990'ish but it's very clean, very comfy. It's calm, friendly, beautiful with gorgeous views and a great price/value ratio in my opinion.
