“We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine.”

“Charming villa away from the hustle that pays off with a gorgeous view. Able to explore the hillside village which we would have never known about. Loved our short stay.”

“Cosy small and practical (there's even bedsheets and towels) mountain house. The 30 minutes mountain road to get to the lake was not a problem for us, the view from the road is absolutely stunning. For hikers there are multiples options directly from the house. Despite being quite isolated, the village is populated.”

Auch die angepriesene Unterhaltung durch vorhandenes TV gab es nicht (ausschließlich italienische Programme). Die Küche war sehr sperrlich ausgestattet, einen Toaster, wie beschrieben gab es auch nicht, dafür einen Sandwichmaker. Wer die Stille, abseits der Zivilisation mag, ist dort genau richtig. Man hat wirklich Ruhe zum Entspannen!”

“Das Haus liegt oberhalb von Varenna. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten am Bahnhof von Varenna. Das Haus selber ist für 2 Personen völlig ausreichend. Und hat alles was man braucht. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr freundliche Person. Parken kann man vor dem Haus nicht. Aber be-und entladen sind kein Problem. Es gibt aber genug freie Parkplätze im Dörfchen. Der nächste Parkplatz ist keine Minute entfernt. Wir haben verschiedene Ausflüge unternommen. Mal in die Städte mal ab in die Natur zum...

“We had a two bedroom apartment with the most amazing views over Lake Como. The property owner was friendly and helpful. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony with views of the lake. You have to walk roughly 4 to 5 minutes down to a carpark where you can catch a small train to Bellagio town centre. I would recommend this property to anyone. We found it wonderful. ”
