we stayed one night there with friends, and weather was but we decided to hit the pool after a long day spent at the airport (KTM delays). then went to use the sauna which is a small room next to the pool in the corner, staff opened the door and prepared it for us, but ONLY AFTER we used it for like 15 mins, he started to write us a bill, I think it was 3000 for steam & sauna per person! but there was no price or any indication that service is charged extra for guests. what a shame. they really should be upfront and honest about it.

overall the location is amazing but the small sauna & steam room next to the pool is CHARGED for guests to use, however theres no sign or price list on the door or the sauna indicating that, we used it for like 20 mins, and were charged 3000NPR per person. nobody informed us its not free for guests to use, that was a very disappointing incident, its not about the money rather than we would like to be informed that its additionally fee involved, for the sauna and steam room is very very dated anyways. dont know why they do that.

Great stay!
Amazing place and location.. Unique aspect is the location in the middle of the lake which requires the raft for access (available 24X7).. great food spread, delicious yet slightly expensive.. dining overlooking the lake is a great experience.. Had a hookah and drinks at the pool which was great too.. Will definitely revisit once Pokhara has a new International Airport..

A most magnificent resort
Fish tail is in a gorgeous location. On clear days can see all the Annapurna range. Rooms are charming. Food delicious. Massage fantastic. We were able to hire a retired employee as a bird guide for a day and had a wonderful time seeing the only endemic in Nepal. Would be a great honeymoon spot. Oh, yes, the President if Bangladesh and his entourage came for lunch one day!

Luxuriate in Shangri-La
I had a great respite stay at Fishtail. I had been in modest Airbnb's and wanted to pamper myself for a couple of days. So I went to Fishtail. As soon as you cross the lake on the raft and walk up the garden path to reception, you leave your cares behind. There is a great, well-card for pool, a wonderful spa and best of all wonderful gardens. The rooms have international channels to enjoy and you have your own terrace with chairs and beautiful landscaping. The food was average but the waitstaff were excellent at the restaurant and actually throughout the facility. It was a great stay!

I think this hotel would be good for a family or maybe a couple looking for a romantic getaway. For a solo traveler, new to the area, it wasn't so convenient to go to town, as you have to ride the adorable raft/ferry over and then get dropped at the parking lot across the way...where all the tourist busses are parked and a few taxis. The bed was comfy and the a/c worked, which was great, since it was extremely hot and humid the few days I was there. The hotel has a genenrator, so if the power went, it was back on within a minute or two. The staff was sweet, though the man who helped me with my luggage on the way out, decided to comment on my weight, ASK my weight, after he asked me about my stay and I told him I went paragliding. He was shocked that they took me since he thought I was too heavy. Ummmmm wow! It, unfortunately, kind of soured the experience. I'm going to chalk it up to a cultural thing, but still think it was wildly inappropriate. Nwxt time I come to Pokhara, I will stay at a hotel closer in.

Charming quaintness
I stayed at FTL on a friend's suggestion. The arrival by boat sets the mood for a relaxed stay. Staff are attentive and there is a tranquil feel about the place. The on-site dining is standard for such a place (& quite adequate) but there are cheaper and more interesting options if you catch the boat back over and wander down the street. Watch your in-room internet use - better to use the free connection in the eating area.

Amazing location to see the mountains. Unfortunately the weather was not as clear as we hoped, but we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and well maintained hotel grounds.

Fabulous and very beautiful setting. An excellent base for exploring the area. If I have a criticism, some of the menu was badly over-spiced to the point of being inedible. Portions are a bit too generous in places, as well. However, overall, what a stunning place and lovely, helpful staff.

Room mix up but sorted, wifi abysmal, over priced, not good value but the staff are good..some ok restaurants for Nepal in the area. Overall disappointing ☹️☹️

酒店距离机场很近，打车大约五分钟，到达酒店码头后会有免费的摆渡船，水面大约二十米就会到达独立的小岛，这里的花园非常漂亮，房间略显陈旧，不过还算舒适，不过房间wifi是需要额外收费的，距离湖滨购物街有点远

It's good for the scenery and quiet environmeng but everything else was expensive. Breakfast is not included and the free wifi is only for 1 account per room

Good hotel, but not worth the price
Good hotel, really friendly staff, but I don't think it's worth $150/night. I am sure they have great view on clear days, but we weren't that lucky. I guess it's a nice place if you are going to hang out at the hotel, but if you just need a place to sleep I would nor recommend it. Room is nice and clean, but I would say the highest justifiable price is $50.

Fuimos a Pokhara y reservamos este hotel pues aparecía recomendado en 1000 places to see before to die. Entonces, teníamos expectativas muy altas al llegar, y quizás por esto no fue tan placentera nuestra estancia. Es real que del hotel se ven nítidamente las montañas del Annapurna range, y estas hacen reflejo en el agua calmada del lago Phewa. El hotel está en un lugar central de Pokhara, y hay unos balseros disponibles 24 horas al día para cruzar de la orilla del lago al hotel; pero para llegar a la orilla de donde salen las balsas toca caminar por un callejón que en la noche tiene una oscuridad muy limitada, lo cual puede ser intimidante si uno sale de caminata o a cenar en los restaurantes en Lakeside. Por cada noche de hotel dan solamente un voucher de acceso a internet en la habitación para un solo dispositivo. Esto es una limitación mayor! Aunque supuestamente hay acceso gratuito a wifi en la zona del restaurante, es de muy baja velocidad, y los precios del restaurante son bastante más costosos que en otros lugares en Pokhara.

Stunning views
Fishtail Lodge is the perfect location for a trip to Pokara. The view from the frony of the hotel is breathtaking. The hotel provides kayaks so you can take a trip across the lake which is a great way to spend an afternoon. Rooms are nice hotel grounds are lovely. Only negative point is breakfast is expensive ( not included) and there is not free wifi in the bedrooms. Apart from this, it really is a lovely peaceful place to stay.

훌륭한 경치를 가진 호텔
페와호수 안쪽에 있어 경치가 아주 좋고, 호텔 커피숍에 앉아서 마차푸차레 봉우리와 안나푸르나 봉우리를 감상할 수 있어서 좋습니다. 다만 호수가에 접해 있다보니 전체적으로 습도가 높습니다. 객실은 단층으로 되어 있고 넓게 퍼져 있어 산책하기 좋습니다. 다만 가격 면에서 근처의 비슷한 호텔보다 2~3배 이상 비싸기 때문에 가격에 부담이 없는 경우에만 이용을 추천합니다.

Don't look for value for money
Check in took more than half an our as they had confusion on type of room I booked through Expedia. Eventually room was allotted and was taken to room only to find room is not ready. Hence House Keeping Staff was called to prepare the room which again took almost half hour till the time we were made to wait outside the room. In case you look for Smiling and Happy Faces, certainly FishTail Lodge is not the place to stay, staff never smiles and aren't warm. Untrained waiters in Restaurant is something you have to live with. They will not assist you in ordering food, will keep food basket in your plate, wont serve food in your plates. You will keep looking for them for service and reordering, so please don't mind your food getting cold while you look for waiters. Food taste isn't great but very expensive. Dinning here may be perfect recipe for spoiling your dinner or lunch. Better option can be... take a stroll and you will find plenty of places who serve better food and at 1/4th of price. And at last, please carry your own umbrella, don't expect hotel staff to offer umbrella if it rains rather have trust on your feet and run. Don't expect evening/ turn around service. Room dining plates wont get cleared after waiting for half an hour so putting them out of room may be better idea. Bellboy will not show up at check out time. At the time of booking never thought will have this kind of experience for bomb kind of money (compared to most of the places in Pokhara) I spent.

ホテルへの筏での移動は日常の暮らしにはない寛ぎを伴うものでした。2泊したのですが、夕焼けと朝日に輝く冠雪したヒマラヤの山々を、また、夜明け前には綺麗な星々を、ひたすらうっとりと見ながら過ごせた時間はプライスレスでした。皆さんの滞在時の天候も恵まれることを願います。

perfect stay with perfect view
Amazing one-night-stop in this top hotel. As I decided to fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu instead of travelling by bus, a friendly receptionist took all efforts to book a flight for me. He succeeded and made my day. The Hotel itself has a view to the mountains, that can't be topped except for crawling up the mountains myself. Reaching the Hotel by ferryboat or getting rowed by an employee is a special memento. I found a photo gallery showing previous guests, among them Prince Charles, US president Jimmy Carter and Shah Reza Pahlevi. (and me) The restaurant serves good lunch and diner, breakfast is fantastic as well. The bungalows are silent, well sized and comfortable.

Great location
We stayed at the palm tree side and saw a big spider inside the room. We called the front desk and they sent someone to take care of it immediately. We requested to change to the cottage room which we found it more comfortable and they were able to change the booking for us - probably because it wasn't peak season during our stay there. Overall we are very satisfied with the stay and the spa there was awesome too!

A charming hotel
This is the second time we visit Fish Tail lodge and we hope to come back again. This is a truly charming hotel with the rooms set in a beautifully maintained garden. The swimming pool area is very much enjoyable too and the restaurant is excellent. The service makes you feel at home.

フェワ湖をロープで引く筏で渡ってホテルの敷地に入るというユニークなホテルです。 庭が綺麗に手入れされて、静かでリラックスできます。朝あ鳥のさえずりが快く目覚められます。 朝食はフェワ湖を望むオープンエアのテーブルで取ることをお勧めします。 部屋は大したことがありません。狭くてごくごく普通です。2014年5月１日から二泊しましたが、 塗りたての漆喰の匂いが強くて、我慢するしかありませんでした。

The hotel locates in a great place that we enjoyed both views of lake and snow mountains. Service is barely alright. However, the hardware condition is so poor that far below the price. The towel and bed set is not clean and little bit humid actually. Bathroom is very small.......

Pristine Nature, Fantastic Location, Superb Servic
The location is beautiful, with water & hills all around. The mini ferry to reach the resort is a pleasant surprise. The good part is the location, tasty food, overall ambience of the resort, clean rooms, comfortable beds and the peace and serenity. I cant think of anything bad, excellent service. They also have boating, kayaking at the resort and my wife and I had a great experience.
