The area is very private, surrounded by beautiful gardens and ponds with lotus flowers and water lillies. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Many day trips pick up at the property and it's only a short drive to town or the marina

We really struggled to come to terms with the old soft saggy and dirty matresses, however turning them upside down was an improvement in firmness and hygiene so we managed some decent sleep. Room felt really low budget and old. We really liked the outdoor space at the hotel with the ponds and plants, also enjoyed the pingpong table in reception, otherwise sorry but we wouldn't stay here again.

First I was checked into a room that had not been cleaned, after having to walk back to reception in the rain I was moved to another room however the only thing that I could say was positive is that the bed was comfortable, the carpet was filthy with stains everywhere, the bathroom was really not good with no face washers or bath mat so rather slippery getting out of the shower, the shower had mold all over the roof and other places, bits of wood missing from around the sink area with exposed particle board, I was offered a bottle of wine after the first room was not cleaned however when delivered it was a warm bottle of sparkling wine all in all rather disappointing and considering I have stayed here on several occasions this will definitely be the last time I will stay here.

The reception staff were not very cooperative and i had to ask for a pool towel and it took 10 minutes to get one. Breakfast was only fair, so overall i would rate my experience at 6

Our stay was just ok. We had issues every day with having to call for bathroom towels, our bed was made daily but no vacuuming, rubbish bin not empty, internet was really bad and was told we could have a dongle which never eventuated. Pool is open until 10 pm so when you swam in the morning there were dirty glasses and empty food containers left out, I saw 3 glasses left by the pool for 2 days. The restaurant forgot half our order and had to be reminded twice. We asked for our luggage to be collected 1 1/2 hours before departure and they left a bag in our room and despite continuing requests to go and get it our key had already been handed in, no one would get it so it held up our transfer.

I was disappointed with the resort. It was very much in need of a tidy up, the room was aged and there were signs of mould on the roof. The staff were unhelpful and our housekeeping was really hit and miss. I will not return

Good but bit smelly
The room was fine, well equipped and easily accessible but had a very damp odour which was difficult to ignore. I only stayed one night. - had I been staying longer I would’ve after another room.

The property itself was lovely, our room was clean, but on booking one room for three adults, it was never mentioned that the third bed would be a roll away bed or a fold out sofa bed. We got the roll away, with no doona just sheets. There was also only two towels for three of us. We contacted reception and they supplied the extra towel and a blanket. Had the roll away bed been mentioned when we booked, we would’ve looked at getting two rooms for the three of us, or even looked at another property. Maybe they need to make it clear when booking what the third bed would be. The set up of the resort looks lovely but it was like a rabbit warren to get to our room at the far end of the property. All in all the stay was pleasant enough, but we were glad we were only for one night.

Self laundry option. Clean & comfortable. Aestheticly pleasing. Nice friendly staff. Car parking. We had a room downgrade from what I booked but to a lovely quiet area. We were given only $100 voucher to their restaurant which I thought was unfair compensation.

The rooms smelt of mildew not enough air flow Rooms needed screens on doors so you could open to get the airflow The Wifi was not working most of the time and it was advertised Phones weren’t working so you couldn’t get Reception All in all a lot of work to be done Cracks in pool area and again mildew showing Pool table needing fixing I am assuming no maintenance was done during COVID.Beds need an upgrade and carpets refreshed. Not a four star rating

We paid $280 a night for a garden view room which was way out on the back. Looked out on scrub and very basic accommodation

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful entryway, spacious room, nice lagoon pool and swim up bar. Nice touch to have the fans and music playing when we checked into the room. Pool bed cushions need a refresh (older with some cracking and some dirty from weather) and some minor refurbishment in rooms would improve the feel (e.g. clean floor grout, fix carpet pulls, etc). Overall a nice stay and some minor maintenance would make it great.

We enjoyed our week away Oaks was delightful place to stay the gardens and the pool are a peaceful oasis. Our Room had everything we needed a kitchen with microwave and stove top aircon and fan washing machine and dryer were super useful. Only thing we needed would be better pillows . The place looked tired needed updating . Cleaning didn’t exist as we were there for 13 nights. Pool great but needed mould cleaning.

Property has gone downhill since Oaks have taken over the rooms look neglected old irons/kettles there is no care factor anymore . Staff walking around blasting loud music in the mornings whilst cleaning.Food was fantastic (Buffet’s and great selection when QT owned it and the staff in great uniform the place had a vibe no now hardly any occupancy nowadays they need to do something.
