Thank you for taking time to review our hotel. I am sorry the condition of the hotel did not meet your expectations. I will investigate the room you were in for the issues reported, however I do wonder about the plumbing comment as all of our toilets, and bath and sink fixtures are new within the last year. If you see see this please let us know what we can do better there. As for carpet and paint, yes they need replacing although they are still serviceable. COVID stopped many planned rennovations of hotels and has taken quite a toll on them. But I assure you we take your comments serious and will investigate everything reported to make insure that our guests have the best experience possible.

But we have already completed many upgrades which we feel are the most valuable for the guest experience. Beds and all ADA height toilets, and remodeled bathrooms to name a few. I am sorry we didn't completely meet your expectations here at the Clackamas Inn. I appreciate your comments about our staff as I feel they are the shining star of our hotel. I do want to comment about the pool as it is a seasonal pool and is still closed until June. So it will get completely cleaned and ready for swimming then. There are homeless everywhere you go in the Portland area and we do our best to keep them away from our property. The man you referred todid have the police called on him and he was taken away. As for anyone sleeping in our grass, the moment we would see anything like that, we send them away. Honestly it is a rare occurrence as the homeless in the area know we do not allow them on our property and they generally leave us alone. Thank you the review as it does help us to make this a better place for all to stay as we take every comment seriously.

I sincerely apologize for the issues you had here. We are having issues with some of the headboards and are negotiations with the manufacturer to replace them for us. I would like to know what room you were in as our bathrooms are very recently redone and normally are very nice. We are next to a highway but only a few rooms ever have noise issues so I am guessing maybe you were in one of our jacuzzi suites which are the closest to the highway and the intersection that is very busy at times. As for the adult store, we can't control our surroundings however to ease your concern, we never have any issues with it as it is actually behind us and not next door. Unless you saw the sign on the street you wouldn't know it's there. I hope you will give us another chance as I feel you would have a much better experience if you came back and didn't have that one room on the corner.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay due to noise. If the noise was coming from inside the hotel, I would always encourage you to contact the front desk (of any hotel you are in) so that they can research it and take care of the issue as we will always do that.
