We make every effort on our website and pre-arrival emails to be clear about our parking options. Our desk staff will always have recommendations for nearby options in the event that we sell out of our paid parking. Sorry to see that this expectation colored the experience of your stay so much. Hey Ali, the Jupiter Hotel is a classic Portland staple that is a favorite amongst travelers and locals for it's kitschy vibes, centralized location, and our unique approach to hospitality. We are not like other hotels and that's on purpose! We understand that we may not be to everyone's tastes but, as you said, there are other options in town if you prefer the more corporate standard. Hey Chester, it sounds like you had a rough travel day! We can certainly empathize with the headache flying can sometimes be and wish we'd been able to improve your experience. We do have two loading zones directly in front of the main entrance to the hotel for guests to use while checking in. We are centrally located which means parking is at a premium and we can sometimes sell out. The other lot we recommend is closer to the main lobby than our parking and is directly behind us. Please reach out to us during your next stay if you have any questions or concerns as we pride ourselves on our individualized service we provide and want to ensure you have the most comfortable stay possible.
