Nulla di quello che vedete è disponibile. Ad una settimana dalla partenza, e due mesi dalla prenotazione, ci hanno avvertito che il "main building" era un ristrutturazione. In realtà è tutto in ristrutturazione tranne una piccola parte, lontana dal mare. Da noi è stata vissuta come una truffa. (Per non parlare del mare che fa letteralmente schifo in quanto pieno di alghe (questa zona è quella verso l'oceano, abbiamo visto la mia di Bayahybe, verso il golfo del Messico, e la situazione è molto diversa. Dicono che albergo sarà in ristrutturazione fino al 2023 quindi attenzione!

For this reason, we deeply regret to learn that your expectations have not been fulfilled as expected. It is important to highlight that we announced publicly that Paradisus Palma Real will benefit from a significant renovation. As a result, the property’s main building will be closed from May 6th, 2022, to December 14th, 2022. However, as our colleagues informed you The Reserve Family Suites building, where is located the room category you purchased, will remain completely operational, and in addition, we will enhance the experience by including full access to Paradisus Grand Cana, which offers the most luxurious experience within Melia's portfolio in the Dominican Republic with 8 exquisite restaurants and 5 bars, MAIA Spa by Natura Bissé Spa, a fitness studio, and Blast! Aqua Fun Park: an adventure park featuring water games and slides. On the other hand, we regret your negative perception regarding our maintenance and cleanliness of the beach. It is worth mentioning that we have a support staff around the beach and specific machinery for the selective seaweed removal as well, to ensure optimum sanitary conditions that guarantee the enjoyment of our customers while preserving the ecological role they play. It is also necessary to indicate that the Caribbean area has suffered an atypical growth rate in the amount of seaweed present on our beaches during this time of the year.We're certain that there is no second chance to create a first good impression, nonetheless, we would feel honored if you could provide us with a new opportunity to demonstrate to you that selecting us was the correct choice as our hotel's aim is to become part of your best memories.Kind regards,Guest Service Center Management

esperienza pessima: partiamo dal primo contatto. scrivo all'hotel per farmi organizzare il transfer da aeroporto, risposta: "noi non organizziamo transfer, può però rivolgersi all'agenzia xxx.." prima volta in vita mia che trovo una struttura 5* che non fornisce un servizio del genere, scandaloso. dopo un viaggio molto lungo arriviamo finalmente in struttura alle 8 di sera. nessuno ci accoglie. vado io al desk e dopo un attesa di circa 10 minuti dove vedo che palesemente non mi trovano la camera pur avendo la prenotazione mi propongono un upgrade gratuito nella struttura nuova chiamata "the gran Reserve". accetto con riserva. vado a vedere la camera e pur notando che era una soluzione nuova e ben arredata chiedo di avere la camera che avevo prenotato (suite con giardino). la camera che mi avevano offerta per inciso era una camera con 1 solo letto matrimoniale (la camera prenotata aveva 2 letti), al terzo piano con vista sulla strada (io avevo prenotato suite con giardino). morale della favola: overbooking e tentativo di truffa ristoranti: mai riuscito a cenare in uno dei ristoranti tanto millantati pur avendone diritto causa chiusura delle liste di attesa (non si prenotava). mangiato tutte le sere al buffet, peraltro parecchio deludente rispetto ad altri della stessa catena pulizia camere: sempre fatta nel tardo pomeriggio con noi presenti in camera, pessima organizzazione personale: mai preparato consiglio: non andate al gran reserve paradisus palma real

Don't make a reservation they are in remodeling mode and they dont tell you that when you reserve. Poor food no activity is like going to a motel 6 in us .you dontbhave access to the other hotel or water park for the kids. The pool and hallways was like a haunted movie only 3 people .a lot of cats wandering around. Since the day restaurant i like out side the crowds take food away .it was the worse resort i been in years

We booked an all inclusive but most of the restaurants were closed our entire stay but we were not notified that they would be closed! The property had cats inside of the property and my sister had a cat phobia, she couldn’t enjoy her Birthday trip! We were not aware there would be cats on the property

Staff was super nice and attentive. They were friendly and welcoming. Rooms and facilities were very clean but dated and worn which made it feel not as clean as it actually was. Food selection was limited and below average. Not completely terrible but not great. Wish our stay included the option to eat at sister resorts on the property. We were finally brought to our room 2.5 hours after check-in which kind of wasted a whole day for my family.

I had the best time during my stay. The food was amazing & the people were the friendliest I have ever come across. The views were beautiful & no it wasn’t on the beach but getting to the beach was an easy access. Marinanyi was truly AMAZING! She made sure that I had the best birthday. She went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was everything I ever wanted it to be. She was so informative, caring and made me feel so safe. Thank you so much for everything. For my first solo trip out of country, the staff made this stay very welcoming. I wrote a review for my first night, now here’s my overall. I loved it! The ONLY thing was the food in the restaurants, where you’ll need to make reservations. Bleh. Take me to Gabi Club for breakfast lunch and dinner every time. The trolley to the beach and back very convenient. Also, if you want to step off the resort they drive you to the gate to meet your Uber/lyft or your shuttle to excursions, should they not be able to get in.

Their 4 restaurants are located within few minutes walking distance from the hotel rooms. Their foods are not typical good, but is acceptable with their budgeted prices. The hotel has shuttle provided to customers to their designated beach where the other restaurant served. My wife and I found all their male staff more professional and friendly, while the other two female staff on the customer support area were quite rough and unfriendly.

This resort was way better than I expected! it is not beach front, you have to take a 10min walk to the beach but there are golf carts that can take you. We ordered room service food around 8pm and it was not good, cafeteria/hospital like food, it was not hot and it tasted like it had been sitting on a counter for hours. We did order room service around 2am and it was WAY better. There is no entertainment at this resort at ALL. Friday night @ the bar, all they had was a speaker playing music, Saturday night was karaoke and it wasn't very fun but I noticed a lot of the younger crowd left the resort, probably for some night life, so it's very boring at night, and the main bar closed at midnight. AGAIN - not a big deal, if you want a nice, relaxing resort THIS IS IT for sure! Other than these "minor cons" everything else was pretty great! The room was a whole apartment, huge and comfortable, always clean and fridge always stocked! The food and service @ AQUA was PHENOMENAL - big shout out to DEBORA, she was my waiter and was very attentive and friendly! KISLENI at the front desk at check in was SUPER!!! She even made us dinner reservations at a restaurant outside of the resort, and they provided transportation (one way) - she was so friendly and kind. SPECIAL SHOUT: FERNANDO, ROBERT & ESAEI @ THE BAR!!!!! They were amazing!!

We had an incredible stay overall, just some minor improvements to be made/be aware of. Pros: - The property is absolutely stunning. The hotel is more of a chic, boutique all-inclusive. My boyfriend and I loved the atmosphere and quiet environment. The cabanas and pools are lovely - most of the time we felt like we were all alone at our own luxury resort due to the way the resort is set up. - Food is great for an all-inclusive. We got the steak & lobster upgrade dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday and the food was truly amazing. The restaurants are also very good and food is very fresh. It’s still an all-inclusive, so don’t expect anything crazy, but it’s some of the best all-inclusive food I’ve ever had. - Staff are generally amazing - they made us feel right at home. - The beach is a very short walk - about 8 minutes. We enjoyed the walk as there was a lake with DOZENS of herons and iguanas to see. Cons: - Staff are pushy for Google reviews. After every dinner, staff came up to us with a QR code and asked us to review. In fact, they would actually stand there and wait for us to write a review in front of them. - The spa service prices are insane (~$300 USD). You get a discount if you’re staying at the hotel, but still $$$. Also, if they try to tell you the sauna/water treatment are an extra charge, they’re lying to you! You get this free with your stay for 1hr per day - There could be more effort made towards nightlife activities, but we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere

There are so many amazing things about this resort The room is gorgeous and the amenities were amazing. They supply everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to a razor and a toothbrush. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond. Jonatan Silvestre was an amazing waiter. We have had him for two nights in a row now and he is so kind and friendly I appreciate his help and warm smile. At the Gabi restaurant I revived excellent service from Josefa Amporo and Ronny roa Robersy josefa the waiters who were so kind, helpful and attentive bringing drinks and clearing the table and asking always if there is something else that we need. I can not recommend the concierge service provided by Jesica Ramos enough. She goes above and beyond to make us feel special. She did so many things to take care of us such as making all of our dinner reservations the first night and texting is in the morning to wish us a good day. She even called us one morning to make sure we were up and ready for our excursion. And the guest relations supervisor Soribel send a cheese meat and fruit plate to our room to snack on upon our return. The private garden area outside our swim up room is beautiful with mature landscaping. We have a patio with our own lawn chairs and cabana. The way the pool winds all around the property ensures that you have privacy. You hear birds in the day and cricket at night. This is a truly special resort.

Our stay was exceptional! This property is meticulously landscaped and we enjoyed walking through the different paths. We felt safe throughout our stay and the staff always made sure that our needs were met. Upon checkin we received a QR code for daily activities. There’s a lot to do! If you have questions, be sure to ask. Our room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. The pools and Bali beds were a favorite and the beach is a dream. Thank you for the wonderful experience. The ony good thing was the Staff. However the food was bad. You need to request the room to be cleaned otherwise no one goes to clean it. Requested the minibar to be refilled, never happened. Requested some extra pillows, never got them....the buffet food was stale and really bad quality. The best restaurant is at best ok.Will never go back to it. The pools need maintenance several tiles all over the place were missing. Selected the hotel because the Melia brand and it was extremely disappointing.
