With regards to the servcie dog we have to be very careful as we have had several people with dog the owner says are service dogs and they turn out not to be and we are unable to accept guest dogs otherwise. As there is no legal requirement for service dogs to have papers or other identifying clothing it make it very difficult as we have had so much damage caused by dogs being brought onto the premises unkowingly and also supposed service dogs. Your dog was clearly a service dog and welcome. We did phone back and check if the apartment would be suitable as it is on two floors giving you the opportunity to cancel if necessary.
