RIGA, CITTA' MAI VISITATA PRIMA
hotel simpatico, pulito, colazione a buffet varia e buona, offerta di benvenuto drink da gustare al bar del ristorante al 5 piano ed è praticamente veramente a quattro passi dal Duomo di Riga e tutto il centro storico si può visitare a piedi senza problemi di affaticamento, in pochi passi in più si arriva sia al mercato centrale che al bar sky del radisson. il personale è gentilissimo, il ristorante dell'albergo, provato la sera dell'arrivo, è ottimo sia per qualità che per professionalità , bella apparecchiatura dei tavoli ed a prezzi più che ragionevoli, con bella vista sulla città. Il rapporto qualità prezzo per il soggiorno con colazione è ottimo.

Splendido hotel nel cuore della vecchia Riga
Hotel nel cuore della Old Town di Riga, probabilmente anche storico vista la "solennità" dell'edificio e i soffitti bassi con travi a vista. Servizio perfetto e colazione superlativa, l'unico neo è stato il terzo letto per il figlio di 14 anni, mi aspettavo un letto vero e invece hanno portato una brandina con un'asse molto rigida e lo spazio in stanza per un terzo letto vero c'era eccome dato che si trattava di una Junior Suite. In compenso il letto matrimoniale era talmente largo che ci si poteva dormire in tre senza problemi ed era comodissimo. Hotel assolutamente da raccomandare per una visita alla Riga storica!

L’albergo ha un’ottima posizione, a due passi della cattedrale. L’edificio è composto da due parti, collegate tra di loro. La mia camera era nella parte vecchia, nel sottotetto, un po’ basso e il bagno attraversato da due travi, con il rischio di sbattere la testa. Tuttavia quello non è stato il problema. Il pavimento della stanza e visibilmente inclinato, con pendenza opposta al tetto. Quindi anche il letto è in pendenza. Questa situazione mi ha creato un grande disaggio, nonché un continuo mal di mare. Per il resto l’albergo e il servizio sono molto buoni. Se soggiornate, chiedete una stanza nella parte nuova.

Da non consigliare....
ottima posizione a pochi metri dalla piazza principale, l'albergo avrebbe bisogno di essere rinnovato,l'arredamento è triste e vecchio così come la camera da letto in particolare la moquette aveva tante macchie......al contrario il ristorante al 5 piano è da visitare per la bellissima posizione, attenzione ai prezzi!!!Personale molto cortese.

Hotel carino e comodo al centro di Riga
L'hotel è situato al centro di Riga, siamo riusciti a girare sempre a piedi avendo tutto a portata di mano. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo fatto il check in velocemente, l'albergo si presenta bene, bella la hall e carina la strada dove affaccia. Il personale potrebbe essere un pò più socievole ma comunque è professionale e garbato. Camere graziose, pulite e comode, unica nota negativa il bagno forse un pò troppo piccolo ma comunque confortevole. La colazione inclusa è internazionale, completa di tutto il necessario dal dolce al salato ma senza esagerazioni. Il nostro giudizio è stato molto positivo.

Una splendida esperienza
Due notti passate per lavoro. Posizione centralissima ideale per qualunque attività in Riga. Hotel molto bello ed elegante in stile tradizionale. Camera perfetta e molto ampia. Bagno forse un po piccolo ma pulito e fornito del necessario. Colazione a buffet varia e abbondante. Ci tornerò e lo consiglio vivamente

Ottimo hotel centralissimo
Hotel Gutembergs è un'ottima scelta per visitare Riga. Letteralmente attaccato a piazza duomo, si può girare la città senza bisogno di un mezzo pubblico. Inoltre lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile, la colazione a buffet ottima e con molta scelta sia dolce che salata, le camere confortevoli e pulite.

confortevole albergo vicinissimo al Duomo di Riga
Abbiamo soggiornato dal 5 dicembre 2014, per tre giorni. Hotel all'altezza delle aspettative, con servizi adeguati, personale disponibile ed efficiente (ci hanno trovato la guida parlante italiano, il taxi per l'aeroporto, ecc.). Colazione completa, varia e abbondante, con ottima musica di sottofondo

good hotel
Gutenbergs hotel is supposed to be one of the best in town. while location and service level are outstanding, the structure starts to show a little bit of age.... in particular in our room the shower was functioning but it had been repaired with some tape, and the terminal would fall very easily. the rooms are very particular (the building is an historical middle age house) which means they can have some beautiful and "funny" features, i.e. in our room the floor was significantly leaning, and the roof was quite low. breakfast is just excellent and the hotel has a beautiful terrace. i really advice this hotel if you want to be in the heart of the city and want to live in a historical building, otherwise the hotel is less suitable for who is looking for a more modern location.

Hotel centralissimo, a 20 metri dalla piazza del duomo di riga. In 30 secondi si raggiunge l'inizio delle vie in cui ci sono i bar/pub/ristoranti. Pulizia impeccabile, sia nella camera che nel bagno. Servizio eccellente: hanno risistemato la camera due volte in un giorno.

Ett härligt hotell som ligger centralt. Nära till allt men ända lite borta så du inte behöver lyssna på nattlivet. Sköna sängar. Det sluttande golvet och grova takbjälkarna gör att du känner historia i byggnaden. Häftigt. Fantastisk personal. Ok frukost. Bra resturang på taket(väldigt flott). Dammningen på rummen har de dock glömt bort. För övrigt rent och fräscht.

Fantastisk service i reception
Hotellet ligger midt i den gamle by, tæt på alt. Vores værelse var på 4.etage, rummelligt og stille, dog upraktisk indrettet ( gamle bygninger har sine begrænsninger). Badeværelset var discount-agtig. Rengøring ok, ikke fremragende...og vi oplevede en sur housekeeping dame, som skældte receptionisten ud foran gæsterne. Ikke er rar oplevelse. Morgenmad med meget begrænset udvalg og stresset personale. Hotellet fortjener dog top stjerner pga den fantastiske restaurant på toppen, enestående service og lækker mad, og skøn udsigt. Og det bedste: den søde, rare, hjælpsomme receptionist, som åbenbart elskede sit job, han havde altid havde tid til at fortælle gode historier og tips. Well done! Obs, vær opmærksom på priser på taxa til og fra lufthavnen booket via hotellet. Hotellet siger prisen er 24-27 Euro, vi endte med at betale 35-41 Euro.

Booked a seemingly romantic hotel/room. Ordered pick up at airport, flowers in the room and fruits....nothing. Floor in the room were so cropked that there were no doubt in the morning about what side of the bed you would end up. Toilet....ended up using the garbage bin as a bucket snd filled it up to be able to flush down. Room....lights that were not working on arrival still wasn't working on departure 3 days later. Bulbs or wiring? Cleaning kept to a minimum. Seemingly nice restaurant, however no onecwarned us on arrival thatvwe should book a table immediately. Tried a day in advance, all full. On behalf of the Gutenbergs Hotel's Staff, We sincerely apologize for the discomfort that have not allowed you to enjoy own stay to the fullest. It breaks our heart to know that you had some discomfort during your stay, nonetheless, it makes us wonder why you have not asked the Reception Staff for our help, even though We are always asking our guests if everything is going well during own stay as most of the problems that occurred during your stay could have been dealt with within a short time in order to provide much more comfortable stay for you. For example, to ask for an extra heater. Sadly, you have considered not to ask for any assistance from our side at all. We sincerely recommend to our guests not to decline help when it is possible to make your stay better and We can assure you - it will be much better as We are always at service of our guests - day and night. Great location and very friendly staff. The hotel is in an old building, hence if you are for a taste of old times, a little akward layouts, sometimes slightly slanted or screeching floors you wont be disappointed. BTW it was my second time staying there.
