“The countryside on the way from the picturesque medieval town of Sinalunga, was spectacular and the surrounding countryside and villages were the prettiest we’ve ever seen. The housekeeper, Daniella, took care of all our needs on site and got us the house olive oil and wine when we requested to buy them. She was an absolute sweetheart with a warm heart and a smile as bright as the Tuscan sunrise.”

“I rarely give a 5 star rating but this property is incredible. When it comes right down to it, people make all the difference. Emanuela was so friendly and accommodating. She was just so happy. She checked on us and helped us with our questions. Beyond that, the apartment is perfect. We so enjoyed our time on the terrace. The building is relatively quiet and we enjoyed watching all the animals living in the apt below us, especially Theo and all the turtles! Highly recommend and we will return....

“Beautiful apartment with all the amenities you would hope for. Amazing gift basket of brioche, pastries, bread, crackers, jams, honey, coffee and milk. Surrounded by gorgeous pasture and olive groves. Close to Cortona and local grocery store and restaurants. Easy to drive to Arrizo, Perugia and all the beautiful villages around Umbria. Our host Carola was so wonderful and so very helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I wish we could have stayed longer.”

“We had a wonderful time in this smashing house. At first not easy to find but once you got there you never want to leave again. Vincenzo, the owner, coached us via What's App while we were getting there. His mom gave us a warm welcome and the introduction to the place. The sight is spectacular. The outside pool is beautiful and very well maintained. The pool boy would show up every second day. Inside is plenty of room, four spacious bedrooms, great dinner table and a big and well equipped...

“Siamo stati per un weekend ospiti nella casa del Sig. Guido. Eravamo 2 coppie di amici. La casa è molto accogliente e grande ed è situata in un grazioso paese, molto tranquillo e ben tenuto. Castiglion d'Orcia è situato alla giusta distanza dai posti che volevamo visitare (le terme di San Filippo e Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico d'Orcia) ed offre al turista vari servizi . “Staying in Fietri was like living into a perfect postcard of Tuscany but in the most authentic way possible. The landscape, the small town (just a bunch of houses), the garden, the quiet, the house itself: everything is just as perfect as a Renaissance framework I'm almost fearful of writing about this place because I'd like to keep it just for me, as my personal slice of heaven. But, truly, if you're dreaming of a vacation in the original Tuscany countryside, you should definitely rent this...
