“The little cottage was a perfect spot for our needs. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with a very lovely park across the street. The garden around the house was beautiful, we enjoyed having space for our small dog. The only thing is that there is a deep step up to the bathroom someone with bad knees may have trouble stepping up. Also the toilet is in need of repair. “I was nervous to stay in downtown Sacramento, but read the reviews and picked this for our 2-night stay. The place was perfect, we felt safe as this was a nice street, and fenced in with a double door to our apartment. The place was very spacious, and well laid-out. Our host was extremely communicative, and left out a few little snacks for our family to enjoy. “This is the second time I have stayed here and I was just as happy. Ease of check-in and check-out. Communication with owner is easy. Easy access to anything we needed. The only thing we didn’t have was Kleenex and the spout on the kitchen soap dispenser kept falling off. Otherwise perfectly happy. Thank you!”

“Great location! Everything is in such close proximity to the loft:) we stayed specifically for the Kings games at golden 1 center. We didn’t even rent a car. Short Uber rides everywhere. The DOCO has a lot to offer but I was pleased with the places walking distance from the loft. The temple for coffee. Cantina alley is fun and “The Sandwich Spot” always hits the spot. “The property was exactly what I was looking for. I’m so glad that there wasn’t any noisy house construction from the house being built next-door, I mostly just sat on the deck and enjoyed a cup of coffee or tea and watched the wildlife and took a very pleasant hike straight off the property around the lake. I would definitely love to stay there again”

“I was in Sacramento for a business conference and wanted something close to the downtown area. The location was great and the place was perfect. The on-street parking was not a problem. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in town.”

“It's a nice old flat. The unit is the end apt. in like a 6 apt. house and edges on the street and an alley that is like a street. So, for privacy, I'd keep the curtains closed and didn't get the wonderful light in the picture. You get a parking pass for the street, but parking can be challenging so give yourself extra time. The kitchen was big and well equipped; it's great to have a washer and dryer, but the dryer is very noisy so don't plan on going to sleep with it running.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Easy check in. Only issue is this is a basement apartment and could hear people walking around. Woke us up from time to time. Other than that, this was worth the price.”

“New construction home. Bed was great. Homes are still being built around this home. However, area was very quiet at night. TV had only streaming service channels. The TV was a smart TV, so I used my dish anywhere account and used AirPlay from my phone to watch my normal shiows. Very close to Sun City Roseville.”

The property did not lack closet space but it did lack a chest of drawers to lay your clothes in. “This was our second stay at this cottage. We have friends we visit in Sacramento. It is so peaceful! The lovely grounds and welcoming porch make it a perfect place to relax. The kitchen has everything, the sheets are great, wonderful views of the garden plus wild turkeys! Just lovely.”
