Hotel bellissimo a due passi da Davis. Colazione un pò striminzita per chi è Italiano ma nel resto veramente ottimo!

The hotel is small. The surrounding area is quiet and safe. The room was a bit on the smaller side but clean. I like that the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker were all in a little separate section near the closet and entry to the room. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the greatest, but it served its purpose. The breakfast selection is the waffles, some bacon and sausage and then the usual continental breakfast stuff. I will stay here next time I got to Davis.

The room was simple and clean. The front desk person was nice and helpful. Parking was very easy and simple. It is right by the freeway and campus, so it is very convenient. The bathroom lights were a little weird and outside the bathroom and not sure if there was a fan in there. But that was the only weird thing.

Our sheets had all sorts of stains (some looked like mold) and hair on them. The floors was dirty (so we kept our shoes on - not great for getting in/out of bed). The shower curtain doesn’t stay up (why is it on a curved rod that isn’t compatible with gravity?) so water kept getting all over the bathroom. Also when you’re not very full, please don’t put someone in a first floor room right next to the entrance off the parking lot. So loud and unpleasant

The staff was okay, but the room is dirty. Upon our arrival into our room, the room looked well kept, but once we flipped the cover over, there were tiny dead bugs/eggs under the covers. The chairs were dirty too. The only reason we stayed at this location was because my daughter was visiting Davis. The only positive is the close location to Davis.

At this stage of my life i don't enjoy sting in hotels. Having said this, the staff at the Davis LaQuinta were outstanding. The gentlemen on evenings was friendly and courteous abd i thoroughly enjoyed our interaction. Same with the individual when I checked out. They made my stay there very enjoyable. People do make a difference!!
