Cottage a Sagres

“The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

“Maria ist sehr herzlich, gastfreundlich und jeder Zeit erreichbar. Wir waren mit einem Baby und 2 Hunden vor Ort und hatten immer super Kontakt mit den Tieren die die dort leben. Es gibt viel Platz um den eigenen Hunden genug Auslauf zu geben. Wir waren in der Winterzeit dort und zur Info, es könnten für die Heizung extrakosten anfallen.”

There are several grocery stores and many restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive and Lagos is just 15 minutes away where there are many restaurants and great shopping, beaches, sites to explore and hiking. “I lived in June this wonderful house, away from noise, equipped with all the necessary to make a stay as comfortable as possible! The owner, Mrs. Berta, is available for any request, and the fruit trees complete the storyboard! Take the breakfast in the shade of the famous umbrella tree, read a good shade book, walks on the beach that is only 6 km away, places to visit full of history and especially to know this wonderful people is what you can do On vacation and for sure you will hardly forget...

“This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area...

“The view was lovely and such a pleasure to wake up in the morning too. Communication with Elmarie the owner was really efficient. Tricky road to access the house. Hot tub was nice after being cleaned. AC was only in the living room. Master bedroom fan didn't cool enough, other bedroom fan worked well. Loads of towels available which was really good. Kitchen was great to use and had everything we needed. Remember to bring shampoo and shower gel. Really beautiful view and nice drive into Lagos.”

“Somos una familia con dos niñas. La casa estaba fenómenal, tal y como se aprecia en las fotos. Estaba todo muy limpio. El menaje, mobiliario, y distribución estaba todo fantástico, muy completo y práctico. La situación es inmejorable. Hemos alquilado varias veces por la zona y sin duda repetiremos.
