Full service hotel, and fantastic location. Accommodating staff, great timing options right in the hotel, as well as ample dining in the gaslamp district.

Lots of dining options easy walk from the hotel. Pool area was crowded but it was a Saturday and 5th of May!

Concierge (Cathy) did a fantastic job in orienting a high-maintenance couple (my wife and I ) to the attractions of San Diego including tickets (and a warm blanket for) the Willie Nelson concert. The Hotel's "Provisional" restaurant is an architectural marvel - besides its good food and service. Hard to find anything about the Hotel and helpful staff to complain about.

Nice property and very comfortable room. FYI-Sunday pool party was a surprise, non hotel guests were outnumbering the guests and it was fairly crazy.

This is my fourth time staying at Pendry San Diego and it's always incredible! We celebrated my husband's birthday this time and he had a great time. Highly recommend for a couples getaway!

Spa was wonderful. Front Desk staff was amazing upon both checking in and out. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough every day.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice, upscale. Also a nice pool, hot tub and chaise lounges available. Walkable to a variety of restaurants, bars and not far from the airport.

Doesn’t meet the price’s expectations
For the price, this place just isn’t worth it. It tries to compete with super fancy hotels, but it falls short of this price point’s expectations. Everywhere you look, the place is beat. From the inside of the elevator to the room doors to the closet doors, there are nicks and signs of age everywhere. And at this price you expect perfect execution (not a room with an ironing board and steamer but no actual iron).

My stay here was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. Room and property were clean and comfortable. Will return without a doubt. My only complaint is the excessive $60 parking charge.
