Not great. The towels are garbage and should have been replaced decades ago - much like everything in this place. Tub was scary and the bathroom door is damaged. The main deadbolt doesn't work nor did the door lock to the adjoining room. That wasn't our room either. The breakfast in the mornings is terrible. The eggs were very undercooked and the poor girl working by herself was overwhelmed. The only redeeming food were the waffles BUT, there is one iron and everyone was trying to get theirs. It took us nearly 30 minutes to get any. We had to "check out" to check back into our room to extend a day. Its was very odd. Broken down cars and other loitering that shows it's not a safe area.

I would not stay here again if it were the last hotel standing. Place was dirty ( someone’s dirty sock was in the corner behind the door) bathroom door wouldn’t close; door to the unit wasn’t much better. Go anywhere else.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Property is a little older and worn down. Toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall and the drain inside the tub wouldn't stay open during your shower.

La ropa de cama estaba muy limpia, al menos mi colchón, estaba muy cómodo, además de las almohadas, se ve que no están viejas y estaban muy limpias, las amenidades de la habitación también estaban bien. La regadera ya está un poco viejita, y con reparaciones, la cortina se ve vieja y manchada, pero todo cumple su función, estaba limpio y es lo más importante para mí Supongo que tienen saturado los fines de semana, pero eso no justifica que la alfombra esté tan sucia. Estuvimos caminando en la alfombra con calcetas blancas y quedaron totalmente sucias, ya sabemos que todo el mundo entra con zapatos, pero al parecer no se lava o aspira la alfombra, eso sí, nos dio un poco de asco. Me parece insólito que la recepcionista no hable Español conmigo, siendo que la mitad de sus huéspedes son latinos. No habló nada de español, pero se reía de las bromas que mi familia y yo nos hacíamos. Eso si estuvo raro. La chica que nos atendió, fue amable.

We were warned at checkin that my card would be charged if there was smoking in the room. As we pull up to our room there are sketchy people just sitting inside a car next to our room. Looked as if they were on the nod. IYKYK. Then we enter the room and it smells like smoke! As we are leaving to tell the front desk there was a gunshot sounding in the neighborhood behind the motel. We don’t stay. We left and made the drive back home. I don’t even want to argue a refund. Keep the money.

Never Again !
I've been here twice, i.e. my first (1)and last time (2) I'll stay here. Took every inch of muscle my husband had to lock the deadbolt on the door; if he was not with me, there is no way I could have locked the door. Also too much light came underneath the door. If it would have been cold or raining outside, we would have frozen because there is absolutely NO insulation to keep out the weather from outside on the front door. Can hear every step that was taken from the guess upstairs (we were on 1st floor). The room was clean, however the hotel is old and run down so they did the best they could with such an old building

Extremely clean - spotless! Bed was very comfortable & front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. Maybe a little outdated, but easy to overlook as it was so very clean!

This is a very basic motel, but you know what? The bed was really comfortable and the room extremely clean. Front desk person was friendly and helpful, too.

Room was dirty, Shower had hair in it dead crickets around the baseboards of the room. just shows it wasn't cleaned well. IF I had know you could add pictures to this I would have taken some. AC didn't cool at all we had to buy two fans to sleep at night. In farness we did not complain about this because we already new he hotel was full and didn't want strangers in our room since there was no where to lock up valuables. Went to office and asked for clean towels and it felt like we were putting the lady out. Will not be staying there again very disappointing as they had good reviews and that's why we went with them. I normally do not leave reviews but I continued to receive an emails, so here it is.

People were using the hotel to host parties, and the staff did nothing to keep noise down. There were literally people in thongs dancing in the parking lot with a boombox. Also an old 5th wheel trailer permanently parked in the back.

Exterior looked decent upon arrival. Once in room, could tell it was an older hotel. Things had been wiped down, but not cleaned. There was hair in the broken crack on the bathroom door. The towels had been washed, but we're not clean. Wash clothes still had makeup on them. Towels were dingy. The one night we stayed, there were questionable guests loitering outside from around 8:30 - 10:30... even came knocking on our door. I won't be staying here again due to cleanliness and safety concerns.

NOT Quality...
Not very good. Personnel was cheerful and helpful, but the "small things" that guests like us look for we're not there. The check-in was fine, but the room was worn out in appearance and looks. The room entry card only worked after mostly three taps on the electronic entry pad on the door... frustrating. Ran out of toilet paper, and there was NOT a spare roll in the room. One of the floor lamps was cockeyed due to no nut holding the lamp shade in place. The breakfast was disappointing due to cold sausage and cold scrambled eggs plus none of the staff kept the dining room cleaned up while we customers ate. Tables used were NOT kept clean after use as there was not a continuous monitor checking on cleanliness as folks left after eating. I thought that Quality Inn had a much better reputation.

Expensive price for cheap feel
The best part about staying here was the staff, very friendly. The worst part about staying here, needs some major updates. There TV was tiny, the carpet had some stains, some of which were sticky when barefoot. The bathroom was extremely small and the toilet paper dispenser was mounted way too low to the floor. The worst part was the breakfast that was offered. You can tell they were trying to save as much money as possible with the cheapest ingredients. Don't count on eating breakfast here. Stayed in room 223. No bugs was a plus

It is very convenient to Texas State University. The room had a few issues that needed attention. Few of the outlets worked. Tub was dirty and drained very slowly. Toilet was wobbly. But you get what you pay for. It is cheap and convenient.
