Proprio no!
Dire che è un hotel "nostalgico" come dice da pubblicità è veramente una grande presai giro. Nostalgico è una cosa, vecchio un'altra. Il check in benissimo, professionale e esaustivo. La camera , invece, era piccola - noi eravamo in 4 persone - con i soliti letti queen size nei quali ti giri e butti fuori quello che è al letto con te. Mobilio vecchi, di nostalgico proprio nulla. Angolo cottura minuscolo con frigorifero che sbrinava e lasciava due dita di acqua su ogni ripiano, forno a microonde, mobiletto con stoviglie, assolutamente insufficiente per 4, e macchina x caffè all'americana. Colazione inclusa nel prezzo, di per se esagerato per quello che offre questo "hotel", consiste in muffin confezionati, bagel confezionati, succhi confezionati ecc. Se volevo fare colazione con i prodotti del supermercato, sceglievo un hotel dove la colazione non era compresa. Piscina: minuscola. Se fanno il bagno tuttigli ospiti della struttura, devono stare fermi. Poche sdraio intorno alla piscina. Il servizio è l'unica nota lodevole, estremamente disponibile e attento. Il resto proprio non va. Non andateci se vi aspettate un posto nostalgico davvero!

Relax a due passi dalla spiaggia
Bel hotel, con bella piscina, spiaggia davanti, nolleggio gratuito e non complicato di biciclette ( anche per bambini e adirittura anche con seggiolino per bambini piccoli). Camera spaziosa con frigo, toaster, frigo ecc. Personale gentile e servizievole.

Hotel senza reception nelle ore notturne e con servizi limitati (non ci sono distributori di acqua), il cesto presente in camera per la colazione aveva prodotti scaduti, abbastanza pulito. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Posizionato sulla spiaggia. Struttura un po' datata ma ben tenuta.

ottimo per tutti
perfetta la posizione direttamente sulla famosa spiaggia bianca con conchiglie e delfini, camera molto pulita e rinnovata, arredi chiari e di legno in stile provenzale, piscina ben tenuta circondata da palme, colazione abbondante e ben presentata in un cesto di vimini direttamente in camera, mini-cucina in camera, prezzo abbordabile, personale gentile e accogliente..insomma tutto positivo!

What a beautiful place and what a charming hotel!!! On a marveillous beach, a typical tropical location in the heart of Sanibel, one of the most magnificent place we have ever seen. Spacious room with a patio, large beds, a huge bathroom. Breakfast included, they bring you the stuff to prepare it the evening before. Free bike to ride in the island, even if the hotel is a little bit far from the national park, from Captiva, and from the beaches in the northern part of Sanibel.

Ideale per un vero relax
Sanibel è un'isola molto discreta, fatta per rilassarsi e per raccogliere meravigliose conchiglie, e se è questo che si vuole, il Seaside Inn è il posto migliore: sulla spiaggia (quando ci siamo stati noi, era l'unico della zona a mettere a disposizione ombrelloni e lettini), con le palme che circondano una bellissima piscina, senza pretese ma di grande charme. Sono stato 4 giorni con mia moglie e mia figlia di 15 anni ad inizio agosto, cioè non proprio la migliore stagione per la Florida. Tuttavia era certamente più ventilato di Miami e le piogge tropicali (o la loro minaccia) arrivava sempre solo nel pomeriggio avanzato. Le camere sono molto curate e anche quelle "vista piscina" (soprattutto se al piano superiore) in reltà vedono una buona posrzione di mare. Bella l'idea della colazione nel cesto, abbbondantee e, soprattutto, non vincolata da orari. Come in tutta Sanibel ci vuole l'automobile (certo l'isola è considersta un paradiso dei ciclisti, ma non in un periodo così caldo!) Il mae ad un passo, quando si capisce che il momento migliore è quello di bassa marea, è strepitoso

Not safe for toddlers
Main issue was that the door does not have a toddler proof lock. Like there is no chain or bar at top. So basically my toddler could open the door and run outside to the pool at will. So that was very stressful. They were hard to get ahold of at front desk but besides those things amenities were nice and we enjoyed the trip

Another great stay
This has been our third stay here and we will always come back to stay here when in Sanibel. Always friendly staff and clean rooms. My only complaint this trip was the loud ac in the room. Im a light sleeper and every time it turned on or off it made a really loud bang.

For my wife and I it is the 1st time in Sanibel and it was a good experience, the hotel is very good, the beach is just a couple of minutes walking, the pool is very clean, like the room is very clean and every day they clean it and change the towels and sheets, the included breakfast is very good, it is a very quiet place like the whole island.

We were amazed by the room recently renovated with gulf view. We got an upgrade due to our anniversary without no additional cost. Nice healthy breakfast included, quiet, private beach. Definitely we will come back. We used before other locations of the Inns but we think this is the best for couples. The front desk girl Lilia and her manager were very kind and friendly

A very peaceful location, quiet, and enjoyed eating our breakfast around the pool each morning. Great access to the beach, and we enjoyed using the bikes and stand-up paddleboards.

Perfect Seaside Stay!!!!
We had a great stay at the Seaside Inn. The staff was wonderful to deal with. They texted us during our stay to see how everything was going. Amber was very attentive and exceeded our expectations of service. The resort is quiet with direct access to the beach. There was always chairs and umbrellas waiting. The grab and go breakfast was always full and enough options for our family. I recommend the Seaside Inn for a quiet, direct beach access stay. Thanks again.

The rooms are dated , needs to be updated. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. The beach isn't private because there were boats at the beach and there were people using fishing poles and fishing nets behind this resort. It's ashamed that all the money we paid it wasn't worth it. This resort doesn't mention that the guest are allowed to fish. We were out on the beach with kayaks and there was a man yelling at us to be careful with the fishing lines. Out of the 3 nights we we're there, we were able to sleep well 1 night because other guest were noisy and the AC was too noisy to keep it on. So we turned it off and cleaned the ceiling fan and turned on to stay cool during the night. I will not recommend this resort to anyone.

I will communicate your concerns you have mentioned to our management, so we can work on areas that need to be addressed. Very tropical, yet quaint location. Super friendly & helpful staff. Other than the tropical storm that blew in the 1st night of our stay, we had a grand time. We'd stay at Seaside Inn again for sure!

Lovely location right on the beach with great heated pool as well and close to great restaurants. Staff were helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay except for the loud hum of numerous AC air handlers outside and the neighboring rooms tv at 12am…

Positives were the comfort, the setting (pool plus beach), the breakfast was great. The facilities like bikes and pool floats and even buckets and spades for the beach were great. Only downsides were the noisy air con, the loud floorboards (the noise of people above us was insane) and there wasn’t enough Sun loungers. Otherwise, everything was amazing, loved our stay. 10-15min drive to main restaurants on Periwinkle. Just fantastic

Overpriced and underwhelming
The pros: the room was nice and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was great. The cons: no food/dining options at all, looked like on the website that dining provided from sister property was connected but it wasn't, only a vending machine. Continental breakfast was decent. The property had 14 chairs and 7 umbrellas in total which made it close to impossible to get a chair at the beach. The pool allowed no food or drinks so in addition to not providing any, you could not bring your own. The property had bikes but not all were in working condition. No brochures/info on things to do or any suggestions. And it was very expensive. Not worth the money.

The beach around this property and the grounds are beautiful. The property itself is dated and a bit run down. The exterior is cute, quaint, and cottage-esque, but some of the rooms are in desperate need of updates. The breakfast was nice, but some guests would take far more than necessary and then there wasn't enough for other guests. The biggest issue we ran into was that there were enough chairs and umbrellas for the number of guests. I imagine few guests are able to travel (fly) with their own beach chairs and umbrellas, so having enough of them is crucial, especially with children. The front desk staff was always friendly and accommodating, and the water was beautiful and just a short walk from our room. If we go back to the island, however, we would choose a different hotel where we would have better luck getting a chair by the pool or umbrella on the beach. :)
