“Old style hotel, no frills, with a good breakfast. The breakfast at Hanseport is very good, despite of the cold waitress, even colder than German standard. Cheap and bit dated furniture complete the picture. The very annoying point is not due the hotel itself, it is because of its location. Walking in St. Pauli after sunset you easily see prostitutes and pushers. For this reason I do not recommend to go there with kids. ”

“Hotellet ligger lige på Reeperbahn, med alt hvad et medfører af liv, støj, tiggere etc. Ret tæt på U-bahn St. Pauli. Stedet er hyggeligt, med en afslappet backpacker-atmosfære, og søde folk i receptionen. Værelserne er meget enkelt indrettet i gamle rum, der er ungdommeligt shinet up. Ingen elevator. Badet på gangen var pænt, stort og rent, mens toilettet nærmest var et kosteskab, hvor der dårligt var plads til knæene. Morgenmaden (som koster ekstra) er OK. Parkeringspladser kan kun findes i...

“Non male. Ottima colazione alla tedesca. Anche letto alla tedesca (solo la trapunta). Rapporto qualità-prezzo non del tutto soddisfascente. Mancava utile frigo-bar per non offerta ristoro nella stretta vicinanza. Non lontano della stazione del metro U; bus.”

“I stayed in a single room for a weekend. The room itself was nice and clean. Toilet was big, the bed comfortable. Negative points: - the view from the window was literally horrible (see pics); - the room was situated practically next to the reception and it was definitely too noisy; - breakfast with a very poor offer for people who like it sweet (at least they could buy croissants).”
